So some feel Chicago is still not going to do a real rebuild.. And some say I have a really terrible valuation of Patrick Williams, and most players. But I had to try one.
Yes Chicago should cut out Washington either way though
Dallas: Klay Thompson, Olivier Prosper, 2025 Dallas first, 2025 Philly 2nd
Dallas: Patrick Williams and Portland first
Dallas gives up a lower end prospect, a first and a currently early second but likely gets back two seconds they have to wait years for with some upside. Dallas brings in a young enough 3/d forward to put between elite playmaking guards and strong enough rim protection.
Chicago: Patrick Williams, Chris Duarte, Portland first
Chicago: Kyle Kuzma
Chicago pays a very protected first to bring in a forward currently backseat leading a very successful tank. Maybe it’ll help Chicago’s tank or maybe mixed with Vuc, Zach, Ayo, and Coby and others Chicago can push for the play in again. They are far enough under the tax to stay with Kuz’ TK.
Washington: Kyle Kuzma
Washington: Klay Thompson, Duarte, O Prosper, Dallas 2025 first, Philly 2nd
Washington has held on to Kuz for a long time and it seems like a happy relationship, but a first and a second feels like it should get it done. Call Prosper a prospect and Duarte a salary?

Re: Random bad ideas, Kuz to Chicago
Tough one for me, never liked or valued Kuzma much and still have hope for PatW. Chicago cannot just do nothing right? But again that is likely exactly what they are going to do. I would pass here.
Like the gamble for Dallas, I think a healthy PatW is at worst a swing forward worthy of 25 minutes and can play in the playoffs.
Washington ---gets their 1st but at the expense of a unwanted 2.5 year deal. If Klay can be spun off for less long term salary then it is a no brainer, if he cannot then .....then....I just don't know.

I like the idea of Pat Will, but he isn't worth a frp and prosper on his current contract.

Yeah, I think you could push your way into using Exum, or even Powell, instead of Prosper.
But I liked the idea of getting the Portland first and sitting on it for a couple years so went with “everything” from Dallas, even if it’s not much.

I don't think this happens (mostly cause I don't think Dallas dumps Klay this fast), but it's kind of interesting. I feel like Kuzma is destined to spend some time in Chicago at some point.

I like the idea of Kuzma in Chicago, although I'm still a PWill believer. Kuz & Giggity's playmaking from the frontcourt should fit very well alongside Coby, Zach, Ayo, and Vuc.

Re: Random bad ideas, Kuz to Chicago
I don't see Kuzma as helping out what the Bulls need. With Vucevic and Lavine still around admit it they both lack defense, as does Giddey, so with White and Dosunmu when he's on they have the offense. What they need is defense and even with limited minutes Lonzo Ball provides that and now that he's back healthy Williams is likely their best defender. You don't see that at least twice the other team's PG has the ball to get the game winning shot and who is guarding him, Williams the PF. Kuzma yes you figure can score more points but the Bulls need a few more points and a lot more defense and this doesn't do that for them
