And I promise that trading for someone that replaces Jett and Cole (who weren't even in our lineup when our team was fully healthy) will eat into other player's minutes that people are passionate about... and if they don't... then how does it help our team if it's simply swapping emergency players?

Feels like we've been grinding and yet we've only treaded water.

There's still a chance. I respect the fight and grind.

If we had a certified bucket along with moe that would be great, that is what Cole was at one point. That Cole is gone and never coming back

Just don’t have enough firepower (I know…duh).
Atleast P5 is getting closer and we are in a stretch of playing 3 games in a week and a half, that should help us survive till P gets back.

The key really is trading for a permanent solution/core player, not a bandaid.
I’m not saying that Weltman will not make a move but it sure seems like he’d rather hold onto his assets for a home run that may never develop (maybe they’re looking for a guy like Fox) instead of hitting a single or double. I don’t doubt their basketball intellect. Instead, I’m afraid that they’re too risk averse.

Even a guy like McBride off our bench would be huge

Isn't fox a max player? I thought this CBA was pretty much the death of having 3 max guys on one team?thelead wrote:SOUL wrote:thelead wrote:I promise that shipping out players like Cole and Jett (along with picks) for a legitimate scorer will not negatively impact our defense
