got the W in ugly game.
Brunson started off really slow but as Suggs started to get more and more physical we started to see the old gritty brunson come out to close the game.
Hart is like all over the place for a few minutes and then he has stretches where he is the most impactful player on the court.
Mikal had a really strong game. EFF offense in a game that was muked up. He also gave Suggs fits defensively.
KAT got involved too much in the Wagner sh*t. He get out of control too much but his rebounding is excellent..not sure where we would be without his rebounding. He just needs to slow sh*t down when he gets the switch. He rushes too much. Take your time and if the double comes you are a good enough passer to swing it. Or just report in a better spot and get the ball back.
ORL is decimated with injures but they still play incredibly physical defense. Happy to get the W and mostly get out of that game without any real injuries.

I see some Knicks fans calling the Knicks mid around the socials and all I can say is how far we have come as a team and fan base that this team is still trying to create chemistry on both ends of the court but is 16-10 in the process.
Inconsistency through the beginning of the season has been a Thibs Knicks team's bugaboo his whole tenure here producing the .500 till new year's day ritual but are still a little ahead of schedule.
If they are still playing this inconsistent late in the season then I will readjust the playoff potential of this team but am not going to change perspective from game to game as so many others are prone to do. If this is mid then I can't wait to see it consistently click.

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Dont care that the dont have Paulo of Franz...This is a big win -not to mention we held them to 91 points...And we dont have Mitch either...
They’re way more shorthanded than we are but they’re still competing. They nearly had the bucks beat in that nba cup game and that was on the road. So I’m not overlooking them at all. I very much hope they go on a losing streak so we can pass them in the standings
We already passed them. We’re 3rd and they’re 4th. Wouldn’t mind them dropping a few more slots

Sweet, I see we are up by a fraction of a percentage. We need to create some space while they’re hurt

Shamet is coming to save our bench along with Mitch.

Well, we got a win without needing to shoot 50% from the field. 24 made FTs must be the most for a while.
Plenty of negatives such as OG doing almost nothing and that assist number dropping to 20.
Hopefully our players took note on how to be physical defensively. Mind you, Orlando committed 10 more fouls on the stat sheet and it looked like it should have been a greater number than that.

We are now 3rd in the East and 7th in the ENTIRE league. We are down two rotation players and still haven't found our stride. IMO we have overachieved thus far. Get your head outta your a$$es and smell the roses.

Do the Knicks get a bronze medal for the tournament with this win?

Thank you for post this! I've noticed that with Brunson. He goes off in those situations
Need to see this Jan 30th against Dyson Daniel’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Need a Brunson burner night to shut up all the “Brunson stopper” nonsense bs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dunno. Daniels is more problematic due to his size and also you need to be able to exploit Young. I think you use him as a decoy early and then run secondary action until Daniels has to switch off.

Love the enthusiasm but my concern is that we’ve beaten the lowly teams and generally come out second best in the big games.
Thibs is also running the starters at astronomically high minutes but we’ve had good injury luck. My point is, we’ve had the horses.
There is hope but a lot of internal growth is required.

I think each player gets about $50,000. Perhaps they can go and buy a nice item from Tiffany

Kessler AND Donte gonna be hella tough to pull off
It’s gotta be Mitch + deuce just for Kessler
But I want them both
They can bolster the bench
