Lakers/Hornets trades? for Richards?

Post#1 » by SlimShady83 » Mon Dec 16, 2024 5:35 am

All trades work on spotrac

Trade 1: Gabe 2 2nd round pics
Trade 2: Vando 2 2nd round pics <> I know Vando's Injured all season, etc just getting trades to work
Trade 3: Richards AND SETH CURRY FOR Hayes, Cam, Wood <> I know his Injured as well

All trades Include the 2 2nd round pics which Is what Hornets want the most, but just doing the trades to make them work.

Are Hornets still looking to trade Nick Richards?

Doubt any of this actually happens, but just dreaming and dreaming about my Kessler/Sexton trade

I think it takes those seconds, at minimum, too turn Vincent or Vanderbilt into an expiring. Turning Vincent, especially, into a cheaper, productive player seems like it would take more...but a first seems like too much. I think LAL needs to include cash to a team that sends another 2nd or two to Charlotte.

Vando still on contract until another 3 years or so
Gabe last year Is 25/6 ..

So probably Gabe 2 2nd's for Richards would be best.

Think Richards needs a new team

How about Wood+Hayes+2 2nds
For Richards

Charlotte keeps Hayes as the backup 5, accelerating the tank, they free up the roster/cap space for next year, and get some 2nds

LA gets a cheap healthy big

Yes that works too...

I'm not trading them JHS because I want the DLO/JHS 2 pics deal for Kessler/Sexton... Not high on Sexton, but I'm high on Kessler and Kessler alone Isn't worth 2 pics, so I'm using Sexton to get the deal done and Lakers get something decent for DLO.

Does this make Lakers title contenter or can they win In future?, I'm not sure but It's a start of a building block fills the needs of center and defense which Is hard to get IMO.

Nick Richards is a hold at 2nd round pick value. He's contracted next season at 5 million, can start in a pinch, and the Hornets starter has just recently returned from a one-year layoff.

Mark Williams is on a minutes restriction. His last game he played 17 minutes (15 points 9 rebounds).

Nick Richards can start in a pinch. A rim protector with borderline starter value contracted 2 playoff pushes at 5 million and 5 million is a strong hold at second round pick compensation.

Hayes is a practice dummy.
