So your distaste for his playing style, allows you to make remarks that make no sense at all? Explain to me how Embiid flopped into breaking his orbital 3 times, his sInus once, hell any of the injuries?

Not a single one came from flopping. It's completely baseless and unsubstantiated argument, used by people who don't enjoy Embiid, who use it as another reason to **** on him. Take your phony sympathy out of here. You just feed into the reddit hive mind mentality of that cesspool called the General Board. The level of vile **** that is said on those Embiid threads, shows how unhealthy a relationship a lot of people have with him. It's actually disturbing.
He may not have injured himself flopping at any point. Idk. Bet it doesn't help though.

BUT he surely ended his own teammates career flopping into his knees with his big back self.

That's former Raptor great Danny Green who should have never lowered himself to wearing a philly Jersey to begin with nor being a teammate of the buffoon from Cameroon. (Does Cameroon even claim him anymore? Can he claim being from there? Do i gotta change the name?)

Cost danny his career. Wild.

I like DG but he was about 2 seconds away from retirement, with or without the injury.
Come on man, He had no plans to retire. He tried to keep it going in Memphis. It was sad.

You clearly didn't understand what I meant. Also says a lot more about you, when you have to resort to insults. All I asked was for is a Raptors fan, who clearly doesn't like our star player, to not be around the team's board. You're trying to poke the bear about flopping, when we're talking about another injury for our star player, and having to deal with our star rookie now getting a potential season ending injury. Have you ever heard of reading the room? You really think anything you say on here is going to be heard to at all?

Go away.

Would love Hinkie to get another shot in the NBA. But I'm pretty sure he's shadow banned from the league. That, and he's also wildly successful being a hedge fund manager.

Not that I think he's stupid enough to do this, but hopefully Morey doesn't try to use McCain as a trade chip before the deadline to try to salvage the season as he still holds value as a productive young player on a cheap contract. He's just going to have to accept the inevitable that this is another lost season at this point.

You read my mind , I think Morey will do exactly that , trying to salvage this season and job security he will `trade McCain and some broken goods for guys like Cameron Johnson

At this point he should tank honestly

I’d want Sam Hinkie as the GM (he’s quite an expert to build a very bad team) during the tanking phase, while Daryl Morey handles drafting, trades, free agency, and shaping the team’s overall roadmap.

Yep, they were working together in Houston for 6 years so I'm sure they have a great relationship already.

Great that they repaired. Better long term but he'll be out the season.

I also was hyped by the word "repair." love that we all have honorary orthopedic surgery concentrations
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

To me it still seems vague as to which type of surgery he had.

WOJ for instance used the term "repair" for both Joel and KAT earlier this year in which they returned before the playoffs.

They both have pretty much confirmed that they received a"trim" procedure that essentially removes the damaged areas. With what's typically a 6 week timeline.

I hope he got the best treatment for him and takes all the time he needs, even if he rests it for the year....

Yeah I remain sceptical, but atleast this is straight from the horses mouth, where with Jo they said procedure officially through the team. That being said, I do wonder if they went with the repair with Jo but rushed him back, as the timeline on that is 6-8 months, not 6-8 weeks. Would totally be a Sixers thing to opt for the better surgery, and then rush him back to screw everything up.

This franchise can't catch a break, it's unbelieveable.

What’s crazy to me is that neither injury looked serious during the game. I didn’t even realize McCain had hurt his knee—he fell on the back of his head and was holding it after the fall. As for Embiid, the impact didn’t seem that bad either; it was just an indirect forearm to the face. And yet, here we are—McCain is likely out for the season, and Embiid is set to miss around two months.

The only thing crazy to me is the Sixers continuing to "compete" in a lost season, and it will only get crazier when Morey makes the inevitable deadline trade for more washed vets to make a "run".

The Sixers can make you exhausted to keep up with all their drama, they are like a soap opera, 'As the Sixers turn'.

Never thought I would be worried about missing McCain this season. But now Gordon is our 6th man, while adequate, he definitely doesn't bring any juice.

We can win games but our upside is definitely limited without McCain.
