That’s how I feel as well. I’m not moved by beating up on bad teams or teams that are missing their best players.

I still have no issue with their fans but, they have a very unlikable team. Suggs/Mo/Goga all have very punchable faces! I would love Goga here though! Mo wouldn't be a bad player to have either. Then I wouldn't wanna punch their faces.

I mean we wouldn’t be acting any differently tbh. Look how we were when the hawks beat us. This was kind of a reversal of that. We ended their home win streak and guys were doing a lot of taunting and extracurricular stuff out there lol

Thibs might have the best "opposing team has no good players available" regular season luck in league history. Such a blessed orc.

I thought he was the one who was supposedly injuring all our players. Maybe those opposing teams shouldn’t run all their players into the ground and injure them. Imagine if Thibs was the Magic coach they’d be coming with pitchforks

This team even with KAT is not a pure finesse type of team. They play a style of toughness. Its part of their identity. Orlando wanted to say hey we are tougher than you. That didn't work.

However We still need Mitch back.

Trade season is officially on. I don't know who out there wants a Center more than us. I don't mind slightly overpaying Ainge to get Kessler. Even if it meant BOTH Kolek and Dadiet. Just get it done. This team will be next level in Thibs system when they get the rim protector back in the lineup.

Maybe Orlando was resting its only 2 above replacement players.

Thibs played Brunson, KAT and Bridges above 38 again. 43 for KAT against a Turkish Airlines league level Magic squad. He sucks and this team isn't beating anyone in April.

They are resting them because they both have torn right obliques meanwhile our team is relatively healthy despite the wailing

I mean I wouldn't say that. Magic play extremely tough and were excellent at home even without a full squad. It was an ugly but gritty win.

Bridges is finding consistency which is HUGE.

The last step is getting the rim protecting 5 back. Thibs system without that will never look quite right.

No we are not moved when the Knicks win games, but we proudly brag about the records of opposing teams who "beat up on bad teams"?

Knicks are still gelling with a lot of new pieces and are trying to get healthy. I'm thankful for every win.

Beating the Magic at home was NOT easy. Their defense is rude.

Only the Knicks beat on bad teams. All the other good teams beat like the '96 Bulls.

Utahs rebuild is long term which means they want really young players with upside and preferably mutliple years of cost control (3 years or more). Some combination of Dadiet /Kolek / Hukporti and one or two of our FRPs would certainly give them a lot of that. Robinson would not.

I wouldn't quite say pipe dream but Richards cost would probably be less (very true). Supposedly Ainges asking price is two quality first round picks or equivalent. We have at least one realitvely decent FRP left to trade and a few rookies who have quality first round value. I think its possible.
