Knicks are still gelling with a lot of new pieces and are trying to get healthy. I'm thankful for every win.

Beating the Magic at home was NOT easy. Their defense is rude.

Only the Knicks beat on bad teams. All the other good teams beat like the '96 Bulls.

Yeah the bulls also couldn’t beat contenders like how we can’t either. I wonder how they won a chip by only beating up on bad teams!?

What trade pieces do the Knicks have left besides Mitch ?

Utahs rebuild is long term which means they want really young players with upside and preferably mutliple years of cost control (3 years or more). Some combination of Dadiet /Kolek / Hukporti and one or two of our FRPs would certainly give them a lot of that. Robinson would not.

Those young players have gotten zero exposure which means their trade value is nil.

If there are any other teams interested in Kessler they outbid us easily

Knicks are 10-5 vs. teams above .500. They are actually way worse against teams below .500.

But I like talking out of my azz too so let's just forget I wrote that!

wtf

just a reminder that last year team wasnt great at all without OG trade and Brunson playing like a prime MJ

and its funny that you keep mentioning how we miss Hartenstein when you are maybe the first person (me one of those too) that kept trashing him since the Heat series fiasco when his defense was as bad a Mitch against Bam… Sixers and Indiana series just made it even more obvious that he is trash on defense despite him having stellar moments in spurts…

was his Achilles the reason?! maybe but he isnt a sustainable either, just like Shams buddy Mitch

It will be cheaper than seeing a game in MSG and will still feel like a home game

Then we could do a realGM takeover of downtown Orlando and let the realgm Orlando Magic subforum that we took over their town

Orlando is kind of a depressing place to visit from what I remember.

Downtown area is alright

Driving around Orlando sucks, but there are cool places to eat and some fun bars. If we did a RealGM meeting we would have a blast

Huh? We’re 6-6 against teams that have a winning record, two wins with Orlando missing their banchero/Wagner, Phoenix missing KD. So half of our wins against teams with a winning record didn’t even have their best players. Where did we magically get 10 wins against teams with a winning record?

i'll believe you though this doesn't feel like the truth. though maybe that's why the losses have been so frustrating cause it's against weak teams.

idk something has just felt off about this team. either they're not as good as they should be or my expectations are off. from experience i'm usually not the problem it's everyone else - so I tend to believe it's probably the team that has issues.

He’s lying  we’re 6-6 against teams with winning records and half those wins their teams were injured.

We just beat the Nuggets and the Magic with Franz while we're figuring **** out. And that Cavs game was bull. We'll be alright.

But most great teams get fat on bad teams. They don't go undefeated. And they get their losses from good teams.

Morning thoughts

I liked how we played a lot more physical and punched back when Orlando tried to do what Atlanta did to us. Outrebounded them 45-39 which is always a key in our wins. You know Thibs made them watch that tape and highlighted their soft play.

KAT's rebounding is just elite. Like he has crazy glue hands. Leads the league now in rebounding! 43 minutes is a little too much for him but we've had some days off so it's not that big of a deal. I would still find 5 minutes for Sims, especially against teams like the Magic.

Bridges had his best individual defensive game of the season. I know Suggs isn't that good or efficient offensively (17 ppg on 42/32) but Bridges handcuffed him and was up in his grill all game long.

Hart with another warrior game and 5 steals.

Brunson bounces back with 31 like we knew he would. He just doesn't have 2 bad games in a row. Still frustrating how the zebras allow the defenders to hound and bump him every play with no call.

Finally kudos to Capn'O for finally cracking the whip! The trolls have overtaken and highjacked so many threads with their agenda and spam posting. It's long overdue the mods start cleaning up this board and suspend those guilty of purposely derailing threads with their bs! Next step imo is to stop the spam one sentence negative posts. It used to be a little humorous but now it's just annoying!

The Knicks are the Hipsters of NBA contenders. We beat them before everyone else knew they were good.

Not true. Utah liked Dadiet quite a bit as a prospect for instance. But yeah if another team is offering better quality FRPs then absolutely we could get outbid. But Kessler isnt some established Superstar either here. So we may have enough to get it done depending on Ainges thoughts on Dadiet/Kolek etc.

We are 16-0 in games that I enjoyed and consider to be important and 0-10 in games I have erased from my memory thus rendering them insignificant

I think some of us miss the fact that teams like Orl, Cha and Atl for example hate us just a little bit more because our fans take over their arenas. Not to mention, everybody has always tried to prove that they dont care how important us New Yorkers think we are  This is where a good amount of the salt comes from JB...
