I mean they doubled their medical staff. It isn't for a lack of trying lol.

Tbf I didn’t really complain I just asked the question if other people who may follow other teams notice it happening to other teams as often as it does to us with the one game back and immediately out again thing. Just doesn’t seem like a normal thing to happen all the time with non chronic injuries

Glad he's back on the court, but damn, still two more weeks to be reevaluated? That's tough.

Can't rush spine problems though. The medical staff is doing the right thing easing him back.

Such an exciting start to the season for him, hope it’s all good in 2 weeks. Bailed out a lot of inconsistent offensive sets.

Not a mathematician, but I believe tomorrow is 3 weeks. Looking forward to seeing Tre back on the court, so hoping for good news.

They mentioned in one of the games he was getting reevaluated either today or last friday. Maybe some news during the game tonight.

Not sure if everyone saw the comments by Coach Lee today but it was pretty discouraging in terms of his back injury. They said it hasn't responded like they had hoped and they would work on it during this homestretch and provide an update in the future.
Very much starting to feel like a Mark Williams back situation here. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that he doesn't play again the rest of this season. Feel bad for him because this injury no doubt has caused him some money. He would have put up pretty big stats this year.

What kind of contract extension can he get considering all of this (age, back injury, fit with teams etc) ? It's pretty obvious he's a good fit with the Hornets, but at what price they can't afford him ?

I think he'll get less than what Monk got in Sacramento. Maybe like 12-15M per year.

Back injuries on small guys are not good. He might get a one year prove it deal with Charlotte to show he can best this.

Really disappointing to read Lee's update on Mann.

Even if he was totally healthy, he is an undersized sg who's best ability is shot creation, and he has a true shooting percentage below league average. I don't see teams bidding on that in the part of free agency where teams can bid on restricted free agents.

I think we wind up getting him on a QO

Spotrac isn't working for me right now, but I believe that's in the 6-7M range

If Tre Mann asks for a 3/27 this summer what are you doing? Or signs an offersheet with Brooklyn for that amount. What are you doing?

I bring him back at that price pretty effortlessly unless his back is completely cooked. That's nothing for a long-term 6th/7th man
