Gotta say, there are actually some fairly unappealing teams in this- a couple of teams that are highly marketable this year who don't have the most impressive overall historical rosters over the course of the last 25 years.

Which isn't a bad thing, particularly with only 9 participants. And there's still plenty of high-end talent- just not quite as many power-pairs in this one.

Interesting stuff with the double picks. Picking from 4/5 pairs maybe starter plus bench strategy might work coz there's alwys players left over who knows

I"m assuming I don't get 4 on the first round?

When you are up you will select 2 pairs. You have the last pick in round one and the first in round two.

If it didn’t say that in the rules at the time I’m not sure Wack should need repick tbh.

What do others think? Is that even an OP duo?

Still plenty of time on the clock. That's just a loophole I forgot to mention and someone should've pointed out but didn't.

We'll wait for wackbone to come back around, there are still plenty of other good pairs to pick from.

For the #3 pair in a pool of this size, I'd say it represents a pretty significant leg up.

I'm always glad to see someone join, even if it's objevtively bad for my draft position (I had a clear top 11 players from among those not selected yet and now I can't get two of them anymore).

Thanks man.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Looking at the order I see how I ding you and Snakebites in the second. :-? We'll see how they fall. Sometimes you're convinced there is a clear top __ and one of those fall through.

Yeah no worries, I'll repick when I get home from work. Just logging back on now after I made my pick earlier.

No later than 5 pm EST.

I already see how I'll need to leave a long list of options for my second pick to avoid skipping. Hate to be in this situation in a pairs draft :nonono:
