Jeremy Sochan is so much better than him it isn't even funny and sochan can't even shoot.
I thought we would at least get a decent defensive rebounder at the 3 when we traded for Randle, but he sucks pretty hard at that too.
Where would this year's team be without NAW and his hustle?
Naz with great effort on defense and the boards, that's why the guy can be a +26 while shooting 1/10.
Appreciating his effort lately even if his offense has been struggling mightily.
Great to see Jaden stringing together multiple high effort, rebound grabbing, foul trouble free games in a row.
Wemby got the better of Rudy tonight but Rudy battled.
So many blown layups for both teams.
The shooting on the court the past couple weeks has matched the drop in the temperature outside.
Wenbanyama and Sochan is an elite defensive pairing but a really poor offensive pairing.
Spurs sorely lacking a pick and roll guard partner for Wemby, because Wemby's ability to either roll or pop at a high level is the core of a top 5 offense. You just can't defend that.
But SA doesn't have that player, and they lack shooters outside of Barnes.
The Spurs offense reminds me of the dumb stuff we used to run for KAT giving him the ball in ISO or post up at the 3 point line.
We won the battle of the geriatric PGs tonight.
The defense and rebounding were pretty decent tonight except for the Julius Randle minutes of the 3rd quarter, but the Spurs outside shooting was also comically bad for most of the game.
This might sound a bit crazy, but is Randle a lot more valuable on the Spurs? Is he the big/big PNR partner for Wemby? I am not saying it is a perfect fit, but I could see it.
I want this to happen just to see the unbelievable trainwreck a Popovich/Randle relationship would be.
