Doesn't Grant have like 3 MORE years of around 30 mil after this year? Yikes.

The Justin, Rob, Wos podcast the other night discussed Middleton. The consensus was that he was a mess out there defensively, and they were highlighting his issues with ball-handling.

One could assume that he'll get better with more playing time and conditioning. At the same time, if he can't stay on the court, he won't get that.

Do think the Middleton we got for those four games has been helpful. But he's a shell of himself at the moment.

Is it me or has Bobby actually been passable and not an abject disaster on defense in the last week or 2? Are we doing anything different?

Their context is 1 game and the worst one by far. Other than that he's had a low TO rate & stayed in front of guys defensively. We know much more than them on this issue.

He's not close to norms, yet. But the Bucks have made foolish long-term decisions when it came to over-valuing ankle issues, e.g.'s: Ray Allen & Steph Curry. Both had strong impacts deep into their careers. Just as I said after the 2-8 start, R-E-L-A-X.

I've liked the idea of Grant in the past, but he would only be the break-glass-in-case-of-emergency trade if the organization determines that Middleton's legs are shot and we have no faith in his body holding up for an extended playoff run. But maybe that's where the Cam Thomas rumor/betting odds were coming from?

Correct. He's actually been really good defensively. The only thing he's struggled with is shooting, and that the last thing I'd every worry about with him.

Yes, steal Keon Ellis from them.

I agree with the athletic back up big. No way Brook will last a full title run.

Is Bagley's value so low?

Way too soon to give up on KM. If he's good, no way they trade him and if he isn't, no way they get anything for him.

The idea that commentators are discussing his ballhandling highlights the fact that they must have never studied him.
KM has always turned the ball over, so that's nothing new.

But as long as he is near elite on shot making and continues his high iq passing, he's the missing link to a championship.
Just get him to stop dribbling so high and in front of the defender.

"Athletic bigs" are coveted by many teams. Not enough to go around.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Marvin Bagley is horrible. But Pat is even more horrible nowadays, so I'd do that trade. Doesn't work straight up though so you'd need to get creative

I don't think we need anyone special, just need the type. We're always turning guys that are afterthoughts elsewhere into important dudes on a contender.

This is a team that can definitely compete for a championship if they can replace Bobby with an athletic, defensive big. They don't even need to be that good.

i usually dont respond to your posts but i need to here.... fact is the older and slower he gets the more unselfish hes become and the better his assist to turnover rate gets. so sorry your critique is a complete non factor and has no basis in reality imo

as long as he can stay on the court healthy, and he can DEFEND.... his offense just shouldnt even be discussed. his "high dribbles" and old man game is literally what makes him effective as a change of pace. there is literally zero concern there.
