With the Cowboys expecting to low ball every free agent and with Diggs cap hit at $12.7M I think he’s definitely gone. The same will go for Lawrence, and Martin.

I would expect them to exercise the option that brings that number down.

I also still think if Dowdle doesn’t get a big offer he will be back. I really want them to also bring back Brock Hoffman and hope they can bring back Chauncey Golston. Both are also unrestricted.

Don’t know what he plans on doing after this season but I hope he enjoyed that contract. He isn’t getting another one anywhere near to that mistake.

I don’t think it’s any secret that Rico Dowdle started racking up 100 yard games after Hoffman was put into the starting lineup. He worked his tail off to win the starting center job and then the team drafted Beebe and just gave him the job.

Unfortunately I can see another team swooping in and offering Hoffman more money than Dallas is willing to match.
