This popped up in my afternoon reading… it’s Fansided so best to read with a little skepticism.

But if true… definitely worth considering the possibility of moving on from Diggs.

With the Cowboys expecting to low ball every free agent and with Diggs cap hit at $12.7M I think he’s definitely gone. The same will go for Lawrence, and Martin.

Yeah - Zach is done. Next stop is Canton.

Someone will toss a wad of cash at D Law. He’s gone.

Hate having to rebuild our secondary but I would definitely do the Diggs thing. Hate to lose Bland as well but that’s the way it goes.

Speaking of, I expect Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker to both be gone next season too.

It’s going to be “interesting” to see how they manage the cap this coming offseason. And I say that in a frustrated way because it all starts with what they do with QB1 and spreading that $90M around somehow.

I would expect them to exercise the option that brings that number down.

I also still think if Dowdle doesn’t get a big offer he will be back. I really want them to also bring back Brock Hoffman and hope they can bring back Chauncey Golston. Both are also unrestricted.

Yup! $8M to do nothing but suck.

This team is going to look very different next season.

Yeah - when I was formatting the table I saw that and did a hard stop myself.

Don’t know what he plans on doing after this season but I hope he enjoyed that contract. He isn’t getting another one anywhere near to that mistake.

I don’t think it’s any secret that Rico Dowdle started racking up 100 yard games after Hoffman was put into the starting lineup. He worked his tail off to win the starting center job and then the team drafted Beebe and just gave him the job.

Unfortunately I can see another team swooping in and offering Hoffman more money than Dallas is willing to match.

I’d prefer they cut Steele’s sorry ass and keep Hoffman…

Absolutely! Steele is a complete waist of space on this team. I really think RT is where Tyler Guyton is going to end up.
