Vucevic to NY

Post#1 » by Syko_boB » Thu Dec 19, 2024 6:21 am

Bulls trade
Nikola Vucevic

Knicks trade
Precious Achiuwa & Mitch Robinson

Chicago looks towards a future with a new young core when Mitch returns to action next season
The youth will benefit from extra touches with Vuc gone

White / Ball
Giddey / Dosonmu
LaVine / Buzelis
Williams / Smith
Robinson / Achiuwa

New York can run a twin tower lineup, while rotating Vuc & KAT allows them to have a versatile big on the floor for 48 mins

Brunson / Payne
Bridges / McBride
Anunoby / Ryan
Hart / Dadiet
Towns / Vucevic

Vucevic for Robinson was a pipe dream for the Bulls 2 years ago. Accept and no takebacks.

I would say the team doctor makes the call for the Bulls. If Robinson will play, maybe even next year, then the Bulls say Yes.

They fight this year with Smith and Achiuma at the 5, they need somebody else tall to be there for insurance. They save about $9M in cap space next year to find help.

Sure Vuc can score but I couldn't take hearing Thibs yelling at him all game long on defense.

Agreed. If we can get someone like Myles Turner instead, I think that makes more sense for the Knicks.

Follow the science not some internet physician & get your shots.
