IND TRADES: Turner, Jackson

CHI TRADES: Vuc, Craig, 2025 #1 (POR)

Pacers get center replacement as Turner is going to outprice himself for Indy to resign and get a needed perimeter defender...

Bulls get expirings for youth movement/rebuild

Man the Pacers would really have to love Vucevic to do this. Turner has been a loyal Pacer for 10 years, IND is usually a team that shows some respect. But giving up o Jackson, still under contract control as a RFA, is rough because in 6 months the Pacers will have seen 3 centers, including Jalen Smith, transfer to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for a year and a half of Nikola Vucevic who is older than all three of the guys they gave up and makes more money.

That wonderful PORT is lottery protected and looks more and more like it will be 2nds.

Bulls a big YES, Pacers serve as chumps

Uh, no. There’s no need to downgrade like this for Indy. It’s worth riding it out with Turner and trying to re sign him, or we’d prefer to just let Jackson rehab and play the 5 if Turner walks, while having the tax space.

Any interest in Mitchell Robinson and Precious Achiuwa for Myles Turner swap?
