Sabonis to NY

Post#1 » by Hatrick Ewing » Fri Dec 20, 2024 12:29 am

To NY:
Sabonis

To Sac:
OG Anunoby
Mcbride
Protected 1st

Why for NY? They give up important pieces but get an impact center, which they will not win without.

Why for Sac? They are treadmill plain and simple. They give the keys to Fox while getting 2 players any team would love to have and switch things up a bit. Worst thing you can do is keep being a treadmill until your guys turn 30 and their value diminishes.

KAT says hi. He's at least as "impactful" as Sabonis.
RIP magnumt--you're literally why I'm still here on these boards.
RIP The Hater--keep up the good fight in the great beyond.

Not close in value, but the mere thought of pairing KAT and Sabonis makes opposing teams salivate.... could easily be the worst defensive frontcourt in the league.

Not value, but pairing Sabonis/KAT wouldn’t do either of them favors.

Assume Sac only is interested in OG if they keep Sabonis. They have Murray, Demar, and 3 firsts. Whatever it costs for OG, they can pay…. If not, you need a third team so Sac can tank.

The Celtics and Cavs kick in a pair of seconds to help this along. I think the fit in NY is rough right now with the players being less than complementary. But, the value swing too hard to SAC.

I’d actually like someone like Ayton in NY better. NY’s issue isn’t scoring or stretching.

Think both teams give a hard no to this one. We need a rim protector to play next to Karl...and OG is a better rim protector than Sabonis. While the Kings need Sabonis' creation more than OG & Deuce's defense + shooting.
