Only fools thought that. Rudy should have been traded to Detroit for expiring's. My first move would have been getting Rui Hachimura from Washington to play with Towns. But getting what we got for Towns is horrible.

KGDaBom, Neeva, and whole host of people definitely thought that.

Just for a bit more salt, Walker Kessler is putting up some similar stats advanced metric wise and normally that are pretty similar to Gobert.

This is it. We had one good year, hope it was worth it. Prepare for first round exits or worse for the next 8 years. So glad we have no picks to pull ourselves out of this mess.

Rudy when he comes to play is absolutely a top 10 player. He is a walking top 10 defense. The Neverminds alone change the entire flow of opposing teams offense. Rudy can board like nobodies business, and when people lob it to him, he can score. He is also an amazing screen assister, and can play excellent PNR both big/small and big/big. If anything you see tonight how a bad Rudy game changes everything.

I'm seeing that top 10 defense alright. He's definitely as good as AD.

You're not top 10 if you can't carry a team. Rudy definitely can't.

What more will it take to wake you up.

So we traded a guy who bled for the Wolves, for 2 who don't even want to be here..? Cool beans

30-20 for Towns. Where in the world was Rudy?? This is what the media means when they ask why is he DPOY…He’s a great anchor but he cannot stop anyone 1 on 1. While I don’t agree with everything they say about Rudy, this game was one of those examples.

Kat felt completely comfortable and unbothered by anybody tonight.

It was a horrible trade for us. Whenever you trade the best player in the deal you almost always lose the deal. The idea is to keep your best players and move anybody else. I would have moved Rudy if it was a money issue. Rudy has such a limited skill set. He can be replaced. Kat can't.

Randle can't defend a soul and is a really bad fit on this team. Dante has been even more disappointing although I still have some hope for him. Everybody should realize by now why Donte has been on like 4 teams in his short career. And we gave up the 2nd best player on the team for that.

It's now apparent how important Towns was to team chemistry. You can't underestimate that.

Though Towns was total trash and shouldn't be on this team? He's definitely not a better center than Rudy right?

Who's your new scapegoat?

We weren't winning a championship with kat.

Thought we never could so long as KAT was on this team. Weren't those almost your exact words? That he was a whiny little bitch?

Kat lacks killer instinct in high pressure situations. He is a good player, but imo, won't win a championship.

Teams with Rudy win 50 games a year every year. Just idiotic to **** on someone for one game and go back into a hole for all the others

He definitely does not. The WCF was the best example of this. Even the series against Denver it was KAT on Jokic the majority of the time, not Gobert.

He's a big body with inhuman wingspan, he's obviously going to raise the floor. But he can't guard people one on one and has no offensive bag. He can't switch onto guards or forwards or be on the perimeter at all.

Yeah. Great, what's his track record in the playoffs? Exposed in every defensive scheme where he gets switched. Gets outperformed by rookies and journeymen.

I don't care about making the playoffs, we did that with KAT and no Gobert. I want a chip, and faith in the fact we could win one, everything else is failure.

Dude we have seen guard Booker, Durant, Murray, Doncic and more off a switch. Go back and look at good Rudy games vs bad Rudy games. Rudy keeps opponents from scoring, and he contributes with his screen assist and PNR game.

Jaden on KAT was the best way to defend him. Let Ant take Brunson (or Conley,) and put Rudy on Precious and roam.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
