It was a horrible trade for us. Whenever you trade the best player in the deal you almost always lose the deal. The idea is to keep your best players and move anybody else. I would have moved Rudy if it was a money issue. Rudy has such a limited skill set. He can be replaced. Kat can't.

Randle can't defend a soul and is a really bad fit on this team. Dante has been even more disappointing although I still have some hope for him. Everybody should realize by now why Donte has been on like 4 teams in his short career. And we gave up the 2nd best player on the team for that.

It's now apparent how important Towns was to team chemistry. You can't underestimate that.

Kat shouldn't have played the 4

Kat couldn't play the 5 because your defense sucks

To be fair, we never paired Kat with a great defensive PF. OG is a bit closer to what a lot of fans prob wanted next to Towns here. Just never happened

I'm seeing that top 10 defense alright. He's definitely as good as AD.

You're not top 10 if you can't carry a team. Rudy definitely can't.

What more will it take to wake you up.

Teams with Rudy win 50 games a year every year. Just idiotic to **** on someone for one game and go back into a hole for all the others

Yeah. Great, what's his track record in the playoffs? Exposed in every defensive scheme where he gets switched. Gets outperformed by rookies and journeymen.

I don't care about making the playoffs, we did that with KAT and no Gobert. I want a chip, and faith in the fact we could win one, everything else is failure.

What's most players track record in the playoffs? Probably something you can nitpick because most teams lose. Was luka exposed in the finals? Was durant exposed during the suns series? You can't be serious with these 2nd grader level takes

Someone said we win most games when we keep people under 95. Who do you think does that? Rudy does carry us, this is what happens when he cannot/will not.

He definitely does not. The WCF was the best example of this. Even the series against Denver it was KAT on Jokic the majority of the time, not Gobert.

He's a big body with inhuman wingspan, he's obviously going to raise the floor. But he can't guard people one on one and has no offensive bag. He can't switch onto guards or forwards or be on the perimeter at all.

Dude we have seen guard Booker, Durant, Murray, Doncic and more off a switch. Go back and look at good Rudy games vs bad Rudy games. Rudy keeps opponents from scoring, and he contributes with his screen assist and PNR game.

Don't bring up Doncic bro.

I can go back and put together clips Im sure.

Sure he contributes, I'm not saying he's a negative, I'm saying he's not a player I would done all this BS for.

In the first half Rudy was a -32. This was his worst game of the season by far. It also happens to be a game we lost in the first half and never really got within 20.

Tonight loss mostly on Finch. Waiting too long to call a TO just kill us. Knicks went hot and it was over. The fact that Rudy take a day off and send his twin brother ( the one who play table tennis not basketball) to play did not help. But all the others players excepted Josh ( but garbage tîme) s….. I can understand and accept that from old players like Mike who need to find rythm but efforts from the others were close to zero…. Just one game , forget it and move to next one.

Donte is broken. He doesn’t want to be here. Naz is broken, he needs to start and play 30+ a game. NAW is not broken, but the offense is (which limits NAWs shots and opportunities.) I agree a lot of this is on Finch. But there are systemic problems that don’t get resolved by beating up on bad teams with rest advantages.

Wolves have been a great defensive team since he joined the team. Kat was the franchise player here for years and the Wolves went nowhere

Wolves fans, it will be ok.
The problem with Randle is that he will get his, and ice other ppl out. Which is why ANT couldn’t get going.
Donte is valuable, dont run him at point, instead run him OFF BALL, screen for him and let him catch and shoot.

Vando had no offense plus that was a Dlo team. Taj was during the whole Jimmy debacle and Covington isn’t a true pf. All those teams had other issues and weren’t as complete as last years team. However they did make the playoffs.

Although, I was talking more about fit/type if Kat plays the 5 and all the guys mentioned didn’t space the floor for him like OG and the Knicks do. Of course this doesn’t mean Kat would be a dpoy.

We were 12th best defense and 7th best offense with Vando and KAT. We're are 11th and 11th this year. So if the only major change we made from being #1 last year was KAT and right now we are 11th, that kind paints a different story.

For years? You mean where we had a revolving door of coaches and marquee players? Finch's was the longest tenured coach KAT had.

And lest you forget the Butler years, we did go somewhere. It never lasted long.

Him being on this team kept it together.

Honestly I sooner keep him on our bench for 3 years and run his career into the ground. He clearly doesn’t want to be here and he is playing like it. If he cannot be professional he doesn’t deserve professional favors. Randle I dislike, but I get what he is about. DDV is just acting like an ******* and that is a whole different thing.

You said the wolves have never paired Kat with a great defensive player. The Wolves have given him nothing but his defensive pfs. The defense has still always been bad because kat at the 5 means you are a bad defensive team, which was the point of the discussion. Not sure why your talking about offense

gobert--- 1/1 -/- 1/4 ---- 3pts / 4reb / 0ast. -37
towns: 10/12 5/5 7/9 - 32pts / 20reb / 6ast. +31

KAT manhandled Venus de Milo.

the wolves went from must see tv in the playoffs to being completely unwatchable in half a season.

Kept it together from what? The lottery? Big reason why they had a revolving door was because kat wasn’t a franchise player. He had flip then they brought in thibs for Kat to make him a better defensive player. That didn't work out. They gave it to ryan Saunders largely because he was close with kat. That didn't work out. Now they have Finch
