Fantastic game.

Lots of impact plays that won’t show on the scoreboard.

He has been impressing lately as he’s gaining confidence in his spot in the rotation

Facing the kings is always chaotic but man twice we've come out the victor.

Never thought i'd say this but AD absolutely dominated Saba on defense. First time i've seen that.

Christie ? Well yes, well not a star (unless he takes an unexpected leap in him) but certainly a damn good rotation player (and maybe trade asset if the Lakers F/O (foolishly imo) try to get that third all star talent to put aside AD and Lebron)

Star in his role

Max wouldn't shouldn't be in a deal

Hes one of the only decent defenders we have who give effort

Dlo, Rui, Vincent, Vando, JHS, a 29 1st, 2nds, and a swap should be whats on the table

No , the terrible defense was the no help from 3 Denver nuggets who just watched WTF

Murray took forever to come help but Westbrook needs to do to send him towards the help as well. Then jokic with the nonexistent defense at the rim with MPJ or Gordon providing 0 help from the strong side as well. Horrible all around lol

Yup this is honestly what we expected of him to be honest. Even if his shot doesn't fall to count on him making hustle plays and playing defense should be a given.

We're playing very gritty basketball as of late. I like it. It's not a layup line to the basket anymore. AD is getting to patrol the paint whilst our guards can actually defend.

I don't care what anyone says, the NBA is in great/healthy shape when we have 2 significant upsets in one (Bulls over Celtics) and esp Blazers over Nuggets.

Any team can beat anyone on any given night (Wiz won tonight too)

Silver eliminating the odds of teams able to full-on tank has been to give the league's benefit (Wizards and Jazz won tonight too)

We have more teams and players actually busting a gut and trying to win than ever before !

How can that possibly be a bad thing ?

The older guys are starting to fade away
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Malone should look the man in the mirror... the Nuggets defense is so poor... i bet opposing teams shoot their best 3 points percentage against them...
this game their rebounding is so poor, Jokic is laboring on defense, no rim protection at all

Not saying he's a star brudda. a star in his role. Playing great defense and hitting shots at a decent percentage with plenty of plays that wont show up in the stat sheet but contribute greatly to the wins.

Max is precisely what we need and have missed ever since Caruso and KCP left.

if they include him in a trade to get a third star which means lavne..Im done with this team. This team doesn't need offense.

Zimpy in the Lebron thread made a great proposal granted they can stay healthy.

Timelord and Lonzo would be huge additions.

I think Fox historically has torched us. But everytime Christie was put on him it felt like he was greatly hindered. What used to be either Reaves or DLO guarding him is now Christie-Gabe or Cam.

Lol @ Westbrooks defense. What was that?
Also, what is Malone doing why are Braun and Watson not in the game. Watson would easily stop him 1v1...
This one is on Malone...just pure stupidity...

The last could easily have been a no-call, and a it was a late one, which makes it more frustrating so I can’t blame Sabonis for his reaction (though tech is well deserved if you swing your arm like that)

As for Fox and his foul trouble, he only has himself to blame for that stupid 5th foul that early in the third.

There have been some bad calls/no calls in favor of the kings as well.

Not the best reffed game, but far from investigation worthy or blatantly one sided.

Yes 14 straight fts by the Lakers coming out of the half is normal. Calling a push off on reaves as a foul on fox is cool. Calling a goal tend on a block by murray. There's too many to list. Every time sac had momentum refs got involved.

This is one reason why Denver needed Russ.

Read on Twitter

Remember all the times Denver fell behind the Lakers in games only to come back and win in the end? You start to think you can do it whenever you want. But that's not how it works.

Gotta have guys who will keep the intensity up more of the time.

It's tough for Denver because they went hard in the regular season last year after winning the title and by the time the playoffs came, they had nothing left. So I can understand not wanting to go all out every night. But you still have to get wins.

Russ is like a Border Collie that herds sheep, regarding energy. He helps keep the energy and intensity up.

They almost came back tonight but they waited too long to get in gear.

Denver always play to their opponent level. It doesnt matter if it is Portland or OKC we are getting a close game. I am amazed that they don realize that by playing soft against bad teams will get them more tired dince they have to play main guys close to 40 mins every night, instead of going at it for 3 qrtrs and sitting the 4th out...
