KAT was always good in Minnesota, he just had no help for many years.

I still can't believe the Wolves FO looked at KAT, Gobert, Reid and McDaniels and reached the conclusion that of all these players, KAT was the one to trade away. These other guys are good players but KAT's another level of talent. It boggles the mind.

The trade set them back a decade.

It was funny watching the Knicks guard Randle the way teams defended him when he was with us. Wait until he spins then double team him and force the turnover.

I guess I'll defend Randle a little by saying he had the most points on his team. Where was Ant? only 17 pts. KAT replacement Naz Reid with 3 pts. Finch sat his starters in the 2nd quarter while we ran up the score and they never recovered from that.

I didn’t even think about the Ant part. You’re right

I think this is and the Denver game are the only games I'm really proud of so far this season.

If we can play like that night in and night out, we have a legit shot at being special this year.

Minnesota isn't that good, but they've got a lot of talent and they were at home...this game was a massacre.

Our next 6 are all very winnable, then we won't have much longer until Mitch is back.

There's no denying that we've beaten up on bad teams so far this year to get our record to what it is, but this is was a statement win against a team that's in the same category as us...or is at least supposed to be.

Good win.

He had more points than Ant because he played hero ball and refused to pass. Didn't you see Ant standing around in the 1st quarter waiting for passes that never came?

The trade that set them back a decade was really the Gobert trade but losing towns was further fallout from that idiocy

I’m sure that practice time he got and extended game run probably helped with his rhythm tonight

Tbf, most of us that didn't like the trade didn't argue this point. We were ignorant about kat. With his defensive defiencies we thought he wasn't talented enough to make us championship contenders.

He had the most points on his team the same way a lot of empty stats guys do, they turn every possession into getting themselves the ball so they can either score or get the assist and ultimately take their teammates out of the game. He plays the game like he's an elite creator when he should never have the ball as much as he does. His team had no rhythm because of him, all those stupid jump passes he does, all the times he gets the ball only to jab step and pump fake instead of moving it.

Tonight, we saw the difference between a true grade A nuclear threat vs a bow and arrow. Yeah, the bow and arrow might kill you, but the nuke is going to level your city and make whole area unlivable. KAT just standing out there does more damage to a defense than all the "gravity" Randle supposedly has.

What? You cannot be serious. We suffered for 5 years of gloat posting and this entire season until a couple of days ago! Whatever man. Whatever. Take it to the fight thread fellas!!!

Great win.

The trade talk is over. We won hands down. Glad that's put to rest.

There's a thread for that.

It's fight thread.

I don't think it's a coincidence he's playing more aggressive without Hart in lineup. Without Josh, he doesn't just stand in the corner, and gets the ball more so he scores and passes more, and he plays better D when he's this aggressive. Tbh, we're at our best with an aggressive Mikal.

Also with Precious next to KAT, I feel like KAT plays more loose too, no pressure on him as the last line of D. Although he leads the L in rebounding, I'm sure KAT loves someone else help rebound when he can't get them.

Please bring Hart off the bench... he can wreak havoc with the 2nd unit with his own playmaking skills.

Been saying it from the start… Hart as the 6th man instead of a starter unlocks this team… his fit with the starters is clunky.
