I am suprised people still get fooled that are spot up shooters are the reason why our offense is bad.
Happened with Gary, is happening with KCP, will happen with Jett.
Jett was ignored whole game,.especially with Cole one the floor. He also choosed to move the ball instead.of doing stupit sh.t like other players. Yes he needs to be more aggressive but I doubt its lack of skill. Our ball handlers suck. Shooters doesnt get the ball at all.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

WCJ and Goga continue to play well together. Mosley is going to have some tough decisions once Paolo is back. I'd love to see Paolo at the 3 alongside WCJ and Goga.

That is most definitely happening while Franz is out.

A better point guard will make all the difference with our offense.

I miss Isaac, who was our best player when he was on the floor last season.

I almost feel like trading him for Cam Johnson might improve the team. Cam is a good defender, shooter, and can play 30+ mpg. I'm not sure how a Cam and Moe combination would work off the bench because because they wouldn't have rim protection

If Suggs isn't seriously injured and won't miss time, this went better than I expected. Thunder's perimeter defence is amazing and ourr ballhandling is not great to put it mildly, so I expected more of the game to look like the second quarter. Great game by Black, very encouraging for his future. And I love that our team never quits, they could have mailed it in after the Thunder got the 23 points lead and were gettting a steal every other possession, but they rallied and made it close.

Suggs shouldn't have come back in the second half, it's just dumb to risk his health like this, especially in a game which at this point looked 98% lost. Hopefully this didn't make his injury worse.

Cole just looks out there, he can't make basic passes anymore and his vision is even worse than usual. He needs to go, for his own good.

When JI relegates himself to being a 3 point shooter.... his games follows his 3 point shooting success. nails a three early and i feel like there is pep in his step. we really need more motion in this offense. ball movement that everyone touches the ball on most plays. I remember watching the knicks game.... we will come down and mainly 2 players max might touch the ball and everyone is watching taking photos. haha. then the knicks will come back... jalen brunson would create the first imbalance and then the ball would have us scrambling. We have too many good passers to not move the ball fluidly. instead we get in half court sets... no one moves as much making things much more predictable... and shots and passes become harder

Cam reduces the need to play Moe honestly.

JI and KCP are better when our best players are around. They are secondary type players who play off the leads on the court. They can’t pick up the banton on being the guy.

You could probably lump Harris and Suggs into the secondary category, too.

Man I really miss this Isaac. ^ His instincts are still there, still an impactful defender but this year he just looks tired and a step behind. I think the front office or someone spoke to him about wanting him to play center more and he just did the wrong type of weight training in the offseason.

JI’s lack of agility is concerning for sure. The staff needs to figure that out. He was WAY more mobile last season. Wonder if it’s a combination of the added muscle mass and the hamstring…

Man, we were down 3 with 9:07 left in the 4th and OKC just proceeded to slam the door shut in our faces. Over four minutes they went on a 12-1 run. We had "good" lineups in, too.

AB/CoJo/TDS/JI/Moe
AB/KCP/TDS/WCJ/Moe
AB/KCP/TDS/WCJ/Goga

OKC did this with:
Joe/Wiggins/Dort/JDub/Hart
SGA/Wiggins/Dort/JDub/Hart

Getting out talented sucks

Yeah our ball movement isn’t as crisp without Paolo and Franz gravity warping defensive space. Shooters aren’t catching the ball in motion because they have to reach just to receive a lot of passes. Throws off their whole wind up.

KCP, however, has been missing way too many wide open looks regardless of the passing. I think he’s struggling under the pressure of failing to step up and it’s compounding his problems, similar to Cole.
