There seems to be a few times a game that Brunson blows a layup that leads to a disheartening 3 or easy bucket going the other way.

*my expectations of Brunson are unrealistic. I get frustrated or annoyed when he misses any shot these days. His numbers are great this year and he has had to switch up his style of play. Which he has done relatively quick. It's just im so used to him being in gawd mode that when he shows his humanity it's jarring.

His tenure here was a roller coaster. A player that we needed at the time but also drove us insane.

To receive the quality of player KAT is for him, DD (who looks checked out) and a heavily protected first is highway robery by Leon and Co.

Just think about next year...Minny likely lets Randle walk. Donte regressed back to a replacement level bench piece, and they have a heavily protected one...while we have the all-star game starting big man locked up for the next few years. :nod:

This team is looking to take that next step up.

They have periods of dominance both on the offensive AND defensive end where you say NOONE in the NBA is playing at this level.
