I feel for you brother. I am sure WE ALL feel your pain in more ways than one. Having to deal with JR is one thing but, this trade for you has been like almost every trade we have made in the last 20+ years before Leon got here. I can see this really getting much worse for you. They need to pivot and fix things ASAP because Ant isn't gonna wanna stay if you guys aren't in the mix every year. He doesn't seem to have the same personality that KAT does.

We are taking applications for the KAT hive though. Fill one out and we'll have HR contact you.

LMAO man I have been backing KAT since like day 10 (Edit because the way I worded this made it should like since I was 10 years old  ). When we FIRST got him I was a bit nervous because he was billed as a ranger defender but not the best scorer. That was complete BS though, day one he looked special on offense and after like 5 games I was sold. I don't need to fill out **** I should have alumni access to any KAT NBA fan club.

As for Ant, I'm not worried about it yet, he just got locked into a major deal and he has been given the keys. I expect the organization to make moves if this team has a mediocre season. They aren't going to let a bad team sit around after the recent success.

Brunson is going to have to relearn how to effectively operate off ball like he did in Dallas because there will be defenses that throw long defenders on him to get the ball out of his hands. Not in a wholesale systemic approach but it a way that is more flexible.

I know he has done it for stretches this season and even past seasons when he was sharing the ball handling with R***** but he needs to be able to flip that switch on and off mid game as teams adjust to stopping him with those long defenders or when they get switched off him and he can then attack the basket like he normally does.

This may be some of the struggles he has been having because it's not just about a shift between being a scoring guard or a passing guard with the ball in his hands. It's doing both of those while also adding in him being a Curry type off ball threat that finds cutting lanes, holes in the defense or spreads it out as the defense dictates each.

Adding in all these various looks and roles in a multifaceted shifting offensive game plan isn't going to be seamless, it's going to take some time. Let's see how it progresses because if he can be effective in all those roles which we know he has the skills to do but he just has to let it flow naturally during the game.

This is going to take some time.

That's before the game, the footage I got took place after the game celebrating the win.

We need to/should win the next two before that Christmas game. OG/KAT should body up on Wemby and keep him out of the paint as much as possible. Force him to shoot away from the basket. On the other end Wemby is gonna have to come outside to guard KAT. That's gonna be our advantage. Just need to wear him down with physicality and don't let up. Who else is really a threat on that team? I don't watch enough to know but, the ghost of CP3 doesn't scare me. Slow Wemby down by beating on him would be my approach.

What do you think they do with Randle?

I don't need to be president, I'm just a know KAT supporter, we can leave it at that. :D

I don't know about Randle yet, he seemed to be a really good fit early on but that has slipped. From day one my thought was that he was more of a means to an end of getting off of Towns contract but what was great about him in particular is that he could replicate or more like, replace, a lot of what KAT did at the 4. KAT at the 4 is not as potent on offense as KAT at the 5 and he and Randle on paper match up well on a production standpoint at the 4.

In reality, Randle's game hasn't fit as well, Towns's offense was sacailed back a lot at the 4 because he didn't have the speed advantages he enjoyed at the 5 as much and our spacing was not there because Gobert was at the 5 and we didn't have great shooters at all the other positions. KAT was good at picking his spots though, I think he actually needed to shoot a lot more three's than he did.

Randle hasn't been as good at picking his spots. He does a lot of iso ball, like Ant, and it works sometimes but that kills flow. On defense Randle hasn't been close to KAT either, KAT took some big strides on the defensive end as a 4 last season. So all in all the fit has been messy, though we have seen some promise. Randle's ability to dish off the drive was great early on, I do like his ability to get off a shot through penetration too.

I think the front office is leaning towards moving Randle at some point but there is still a huge probability that they want him to be a part of this core and they are going to try and figure it out. It looked horrible last night, and we have had a lot of bad games, but that doesn't mean the team can't get much better in time. I still don't see this current roster as hopeless and I doubt the front office does too.

Patience Knick family is what we need here... :D

We have been preaching patience all year brother! I lost my way for a minute with Thibs but, I am back on track. Losing tends to bring out the PTSD of the prior two decades.

Seeing how you agreed with everything I said, I am curious what you didn't agree with.

Yes we have...no worries we all take steps back sometimes...its been a LONG Knick journey to where we are now :D

As far not completely agreeing...I didnt know the context of the F Greenie stuff  I guessing you were being playfully but I dont like to assume 8-)

Amen brother.

Yeah. I love greenie. He's a psychopath and I have a fondness for that type of behavior. I just won't tolerate any Brunson slander!!! For obvious reasons but, moreso just for the fact that he is the best PG we have had since I started rooting for this team back in '85!!

I just watched the end of the game again and it looked like Brunson was actually looking for Randle and then had a face on like "wow is he serious?" Pathetic the way Randle acted like a baby after the game but not really a surprise after how we saw him act for years.
