I don’t know if you should’ve been suspended but that performance last night…I dunno man, maybe best for the Knicks?

This was one of my biggest fear with ant coming out of the draft. I compared him to JR Smith. He had these tendencies of going into chuck mode and stop attacking. Dudes pulling up from 3 like 12 times a game and it’s not a good idea. I’m sure not having Kat at the 4 hurts but it was already trending down before the trade.

When we FIRST got him I was a bit nervous because he was billed as a ranger defender but not the best scorer. That was complete BS though, day one he looked special on offense and after like 5 games I was sold. I don't need to fill out **** I should have alumni access to any KAT NBA fan club.
As for Ant, I'm not worried about it yet, he just got locked into a major deal and he has been given the keys. I expect the organization to make moves if this team has a mediocre season. They aren't going to let a bad team sit around after the recent success.
Fair enough.you are president of the KAT hive.
What do you think they do with Randle?
I don't need to be president, I'm just a know KAT supporter, we can leave it at that.![]()
I don't know about Randle yet, he seemed to be a really good fit early on but that has slipped. From day one my thought was that he was more of a means to an end of getting off of Towns contract but what was great about him in particular is that he could replicate or more like, replace, a lot of what KAT did at the 4. KAT at the 4 is not as potent on offense as KAT at the 5 and he and Randle on paper match up well on a production standpoint at the 4.
In reality, Randle's game hasn't fit as well, Towns's offense was sacailed back a lot at the 4 because he didn't have the speed advantages he enjoyed at the 5 as much and our spacing was not there because Gobert was at the 5 and we didn't have great shooters at all the other positions. KAT was good at picking his spots though, I think he actually needed to shoot a lot more three's than he did.
Randle hasn't been as good at picking his spots. He does a lot of iso ball, like Ant, and it works sometimes but that kills flow. On defense Randle hasn't been close to KAT either, KAT took some big strides on the defensive end as a 4 last season. So all in all the fit has been messy, though we have seen some promise. Randle's ability to dish off the drive was great early on, I do like his ability to get off a shot through penetration too.
I think the front office is leaning towards moving Randle at some point but there is still a huge probability that they want him to be a part of this core and they are going to try and figure it out. It looked horrible last night, and we have had a lot of bad games, but that doesn't mean the team can't get much better in time. I still don't see this current roster as hopeless and I doubt the front office does too.

This is exactly why we can’t start Mitch next to KAT. This offense relies on spacing.
