If we promote one of our Two-Ways, I'd fill the empty spot with Hason Ward.

I think it’ll be Peterson, when it happens I don’t know. Sam was promoted at the halfway point and Neems was promoted at the end of the season.

I think what Parl means is, Ward would be the one getting promoted to fill the empty *2-way slot* if one of our 2-way guys gets promoted to a standard contract.

Peterson can't get promoted to a 2-way..he's already on a 2-way.

I think that, that's what phincsfan means. = Peterson will be the Two-Way promoted.

Watson playing a lot at the 5. That may mess up his 3pt shot.

What makes you think that would mess up his 3 pt shot? Didn't he just shoot 5/9 from 3 in a recent game? Seems like his 3 pt shot is doing ok..

I figured that getting banged around at the 5, might jar him a bit.
But his shooting is looking really good, as of late.

Watson has been playing very well lately. The NBA game pace and spacing is a good fit for him.

In fairness Baylor has also had some really good games down there. Everybody has bad shooting nights. I get being down on him as he disappointed in Summer League and pre-season and is an older prospect, but the 2-12 from 3 for one game isn't going to be the reason for me anyways. Even wonderboys PP and White recently stunk it up from 3 in the same game. He's averaging 19.5, 6.8 boards, and 3.1 assists while shooting 35% from 3 after after the 2-12 stinker so not terrible. You'd like to see closer to 40% from a "shooter", but doing the math looks like he was 38.2% before with only an 8 game sample making a big difference.

Rico IMO is what football fans call a "gunslinger". He's all over the place trying to score, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It seems like his summer league shooting slump is still breathing.

But what was everybody looking for him to work on this season? DEFENSE.

I'd actually like to see Rico handle the PG duties more in Maine.

I don't know how I missed this Winter Showcase in Orlando. I was hoping that Maine was gonna play the Magic in Orlando but it wasn't on the schedule when it came out. Would have liked to see them play today.
