I have to put this here, because even though it does not include the Sixers, it does involve two of the most posted about people in this thread.
CHI gets Tobias Harris and Zeke Nnaji
DEN gets Zach LaVine
DET gets Michael Porter Jr.

Chicago gets their tank commander, and the Nuggets put the final nail in their coffin as serious contenders.
Detroit commits highway robbery here.

The_process beat me to it, but the only way I'd trade for Butler is moving George. I know your proposal fits your seemingly endless lust to get rid of Maxey, but simply plugging Butler in for George makes a ton more sense.
I’m fine with that. Jimmy’s shorter contract makes it somewhat of a salary dump. It’s a pivot move, acknowledging that we can’t sustain contention given Joel’s health, Maxey can’t be lead alpha and the impact of the new CBA, which shrinks the championship window from three years to just one or two.
With Butler here as the alpha, Maxey can take the Herro role and feed off the gravity of Butler snd Embiid. Martin can assume his Heat role, and we rid ourselves of the George contract.
Win win win.
76 seriously just likes the idea of trades. By the time Jimmy gets in the door, he'd have trades setup for Jared, Tyrese Jimmy and Joel for Summer 25

I feel like the Bulls would balk at taking the MPJ contract, and would rather have something shorter. But DET could certainly get cut out.

How many years did Mr. Harris dupe the Pistons into giving the Assassin?

I see the Porter Jr. News and how they were willing to give him up for George earlier this year. I say make the call Daryl. I like him and he's along the Maxey timeline, he's better than his numbers

Yes sir. I dont even check if the salaries match or not to tell you frankly.

Only 2, 50M total. Porter has 3 left, around 100M total. And the Bulls owner is a notorious cheap ass. And it's not like LaVine is worth a ton.

It's quite remarkable that Tobias is still making 25 mil. Never an all-star, never anything close to an impact player, and yet the national media has always loved him and someone has always been willing to pay him.
I guess he really is The Assassin.

Who is the target here? Jovic?
I'd prefer the players we give up over the ones we get, so I'm struggling to see why we'd give up any compensation to get this done.

Won't be able to resign Yabu due to salary raise restrictions and Richardson is still an upgrade on washed Gordon. It should go without saying who cares about KJM.
Figured MIA would still need sweetener since they will be handcuffed from re-signing Yabu if they trade for him. Sixers should be looking for young guys to take shots on.

I agree with "who cares about KJM" but feel the same applies to all the guys we get. I wouldn't give up pick compensation for any of these guys, and Yabu is the best player in the deal, even if he ends up simply as a rental (could use exception money on him)

Yabu is going to get a pretty sizable offer if his play continues at this level. I feel it's important to try and get something for him. They need to be going out and finding younger guys who have the skill sets or physical attributes that mesh with their philosophy, even if those players haven't shown anything yet. Time to do some projecting and hoping.

I think a tax-MLE offer would be competitive. Regardless, even as a 1 year rental he's probably worth more to the team than any of these guys.
They'd be far better off trading him independently for a couple of 2nds than anything they get here.
But even if you factor out Yabu completely... I just wouldn't give up any draft equity to get these players.
