Precious was always depth...he really isn't a 4 man because he can't shoot. So he is a small ball 5.

Sims has shown this year he can at least play some quality mins. Mitch will be coming back and you certainly wont be running Mitch and Precious in the same bench lineup because of the bad spacing.

So hopefully someone that needs an energy big has a wing available because we really dont' have much depth behind MIkal/Hart/OG on the wing. And Dadiet isn't in the trust circle.

We should be getting Shamet and possibly Warren back. That's your wing depth. Not saying I wouldn't trade Precious for some upgrade but, anyone who has been watching this team should want as much depth that Thibs trusts as possible on the roster. If/when we get Shamet/Mitch/Warren back...we could have twelve deep Thibs players. That's what we need.

not thanks to Warren...he doesn't defend a lick. Shamet is 6'4...he will be a dicey wing at best...

If/when Mitch comes back we will have KAT/Mitch/Precious/Sims/Hukporti as center depth. I really don't like Preicous at the 4 at all. So it makes sense to trade one of Mitch or Precious for more true wing depth.

I heard Thibs mention Warren n a post game so, to me it is if Thibs likes/will play a guy we need them. Warren isn't really my choice either but, we will have an open spot and another vet mini. We need to find players Thibs will play.

Precious is definitely trade bait for me too BTW. I just don't want to see what we see every year. Player gets hurt and Thibs shortens the rotation until the whole team is hurt because he doesn't trust his bench. Precious has started here and played well so, I'm not all about trading him. Mitch is no guarantee to stay healthy and Sims playing well one game doesn't make Precious expendable.

I also don't really care for Shamet honestly. Thibs loves him though.

But we have to trade for another wing, the minutes for Mikal are outrageous. I don't care how much of an Ironman you think he is, these are a career high in minutes for a season, and playing 45 minutes in a December game against the Pelicans has to be toned down.

indeed...I guess Shamet is coming back. He can make a 3 and at least is a respectable defender. So maybe that works...but he's not very big. Ideally we need a wing with a little more size.

But I am waiting for your acknowledgement on Mikal being in the clear. He been looking good money for a minute now.

I need to see more above the break threes, but he's playing much more aggressively. Still needs to get to the line more.

He's made more of those recently during this stretch. Also even on his misses he isn't coming up short constantly. There has been a distinct change. I don't think anyone is talking about the shot anymore at this point.

Also his defense has picked up.

He's been one of the best players in the NBA for the entire month of December.

Any trade ideas? Because the pickings may be slim

Mitch for Richards and Cody Martin works and it's a team we've traded with before.

Precious and Sims for Ja'sean Tate works as well, he's not in the Rockets rotation anymore.

Just another body so Josh and Mikal don't play the entire second half, that happens far too often.

We need to keep one of precious or sims. We wouldnt have a back up big.

Mikal broke my trust, pre KAT trade I was arguing he should assume the role of 2nd option over the power forward that shall not be named. So he's gonna need to do more for me to put my neck out for him again, I need to see more, I want to see more on ball creation soon too.

We can live with Mitch being injured in the playoffs because KAT will end up playing 40mpg anyway, we cannot live with any of those 3 wings being out, they are just as important as Brunson. They need to be protected the way Brunson is.

Ha no doubt. I've been banging down the doors to bring this dude here for years and we finally get him, for a hefty price, and he changes his shot to make it look like a dude hucking a VHS player into a dumpster over a tall cyclone fence.

But he's back. It's ok. He's back. It's gonna be ok.

I wasn't one of those guys but honestly it may have been better if we did. I believe some of the rumors were Grimes, Fournier and a future first for Murray. We ended up sending Grimes, Fournier and multiple seconds for Bogey and Burks. Bogey had negative value after his struggles with us and multiple surgeries this off-season.

Even with Murray's struggles in ATL he had enough value to pull multiple firsts from NO along with Daniels. He would have saved us some draft capital in 3 team deal between NY, BK and NO if his game didn't completely fall off the cliff, get injured and become 35 years old like Bogey did.

We used Bogie in the Bridges trade. That was his value to us.

Yes, unfortunately it was probably negative value because no team pays $22M+ for Shake Milton and a 35/36 year old Bogey in street clothes like the Nets are right now without compensation. We are just assuming all of those 5 picks were for Mikal.

The picks were because they took our garbage instead of young talent like Deuce or whatever. Not all 5 picks were because Mikal is the next Jordan, a couple were because of the trash we sent out. That's as obvious as it gets. Was it worth it? I think so. People thinking we gave up all those picks just for Mikal tens to ignore the rest of the package they took.

Yes, I want more creation opportunities, so that when the playoffs roll around, he has reps.

And the minutes need to come down, he's at 39.5mpg for them month, so similar production in less minutes is what I want.

I actually think the move would be to try and get Richards with Precious + 2nd and then try and move Mitch for a wing. I've been aggregating trades, but we could just do 2 individual trades to get what we need. BUT, when I looked at guys whose salary matches Mitch, it was Jordan Clarkson...who is a CAA client and someone I don't actually want.

They game planned so hard against Jalen and that’s how it ends up. That has got to feel for our captain.

Also, we have put in some pretty awesome performances with Jamal commentating

Bojan is an expiring contract that’s what made him a good trade chip. We wouldn’t have given up picks just to dump him when he’s an expiring contract. Those picks really were all for Bridges. Sure maybe we could have given young players and maybe not have to send as many picks but we didn’t have that to give or didn’t want to do it if you consider Deuce worth a pick. Or maybe the nets really coveted the picks.

So if we can get a decent back up wing while keeping, I can't believe I'm including sims, or precious. Cause as important as our wings are so is kat. And if we're left with huk the only thing that will save kat is his stupid fouls.
