Small ball is literally FOR Bam. Blame Spo all you want for this L, it's deserved. But I'm not about to let yall completely rewrite why we play small. What are we going to do, run a lineup with 3 players that can't shoot from outside??

Jimmy--not a 3 point shooter
Ware--said to be in his range, but obviously not his speciality. Also a rookie.
Bam--LOL

The spacing would be absolute trash and that's not today's game. The only way you can possibly do that is if at least 1 of those 3 players are dominant inside. Jimmy is decent at drawing contact, but the other 2? Laughable. For as much as not having a real C hurts Bam, not having one also hides his offense too.

And it's funny, because it has actually even taken a lot of folks this long to admit that Bam's not a C, when I've been saying it all along. Now all of a sudden the problems he's having are all because he doesn't play next to a C? I thought he was fine at C, a top 3 C in the league even?? Lol. Transparent.

Spo playing Larrson at PF is on some next level bull chit. Keshad Johnson’s first minutes here were at Center. What are we even doing? Turning this into YMCA hoops. Pat Riley should be ashamed what he let this come too. Too many analytics nerds got to him

The front office has failed miserably at finding size that can shoot. Playing small wings besides Bam has never been the answer. The smaller PF’s next him that had great success that could shoot were pushing 240-250 in Crowder and Tucker. KO and Leonard both stretch centers allowed Bam to also have great success. Why keep going back to the Harkless, Ariza, DJJ, and what ever small wing or thick guard like Strus or JJJ he decides to throw at the spot to patchwork has never worked.

And Spo played those guys when we had them, did he not? We DON'T have them today. That's more of an FO thing.

Again, Spo coached a **** game today and this loss is on him. But acting like small ball isn't based largely on the personnel we have is wild. Acting like small ball hasn't been adopted in huge part to help Bam shine defensively, and hide him more offensively, is wild.

I don’t think Spo has done any favors to Jaime either. It was like when he was doing his best to destroy Strus by playing him at PF. Strus finally was able to thrive at the 2 spot once Duncan was dealing with his yips.

If this is the personnel then someone needs to be fired cause it stinks. We can’t keep running 6’5 players with our undersized Center. Just way too much compensating going on. Miami Heat small ball back in the day

Bosh 6’11 240
Battier 6’8 230
James 6’9 250
Wade 6’4 220
Chalmers 6’2 200

Spo is taking this small ball to a whole different level

spo Is probably very confused by now... If you like him stop telling him that he is Not to blame... He's not doing The playing, but he is out coaching himself

All the winning he has done, Came at a cost. It is normal that he needs a break... Plus he has never been good at developing or in game stuff.

Those are the things we need right now If we want to get to the play in

This is a failure from top to bottom. Not just Spo. Simon drafted Ware but did Simon and Riley think Spo was going to play him with Bam? This feels like Achuiwa all over again. Don’t they know there coach? Is there a disconnect or is this incompetency? Why haven’t we looked at trading for true stretch 4’s who are over 6’7 or even draft them? Tristan Da Silva was actually the protoype 6’8 stretch PF who could have stepped in day one into the starting lineup.

I thought the same thing today. Yurtseven is the team's only healthy center, and while he's in great shape, he never played him with Bam and left him out of the rotation when Dedmon recovered lol Bam and Ware will never play together.

The Jimmy Butler miracle made a group of stupid people look amazing.

Yep. As long as Bam is in this team, we are going to be a small ball team no matter what, unless we find a unicorn 5.

hahahaha this f***in team man! I fell asleep at halftime and I'm glad I did because I actually got to watch some enjoyable Heat basketball for a change. I literally woke up and my first thought was lets check the score I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow blew that, I could only shake my head and kind of laugh at the nonsense of it all when I checked and that was the case. Blow this shyt up play Ware, stop messing around. And Sporon at it again, coming here to see the reactions and seeing the lineups he used my god he's so frustrating what a fool.

We are like 25 games plus into the season and the only head to head match up the future franchise goat/2 time Gold Medalist has won is against Alex Sarr.

Also never let the Herro hype fool you(top 10 in MVP voting lmao) there's like 20 other guys (non all-stars) if given the complete green light (guys like Malik Monk/Cole Anthony/Colin Sexton/Clarkson) could put up 20+ and make low IQ plays while leading a 500. team in the East (which would be like a 30% win team in the West).

Also put respect on Goga Bitadze name in the long line of quality Georgian C's players like former Heat bro Seikley. The Magic were wihtout basically 2 All Stars/Suggs/Other Wagner/Garry Harris/the big man who get himself ejected and still lost man if anything Jimmy Butlers value just went way up.

We losing our minds again after a loss. Nothing new. When we win some gm’s again it’ll be crickets re Spo. Look at what better talents/roster coaches have f*cked up around the league regularly. Now imagine the same coaching our line up the last 4-5yrs. I believe Spo has maximised our roster’s lack of talent for a long time now, appearing in ECF’s & 2 NBA Finals w/ undrafted players. We’re fielding a younger squad here esp w/out Jimmy. What exactly were your expectations this season.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Miami should win with Banchero, Wagner and Suggs out, if Miami doesn't win, this might be one of those games that push the FO to give up on this build completely.
