I believe Spo has maximised our roster’s lack of talent for a long time now, appearing in ECF’s & 2 NBA Finals w/ undrafted players. We’re fielding a younger squad here esp w/out Jimmy. What exactly were your expectations this season.

Also never let the Herro hype fool you(top 10 in MVP voting lmao) there's like 20 other guys (non all-stars) if given the complete green light (guys like Malik Monk/Cole Anthony/Colin Sexton/Clarkson) could put up 20+ and make low IQ plays while leading a 500. team in the East (which would be like a 30% win team in the West).

Also put respect on Goga Bitadze name in the long line of quality Georgian C's players like former Heat bro Seikley. The Magic were wihtout basically 2 All Stars/Suggs/Other Wagner/Garry Harris/the big man who get himself ejected and still lost man if anything Jimmy Butlers value just went way up.

This is pretty wild talk towards Bam and Herro who have been major catalyst in 1 finals trip (Herro) or 2 (Bam) when the entire reason you’re even on this forum is for Jovic who looks like he needs to be shipped back overseas to play in Euroleague at this point. Hes been so bad he’s played himself from a starter to someone Spo literally has to be forced to play

Gogas 2 points on Bam last night were absolutely BACK BREAKING by the way.

Haha. This is why this is one Riley. Should have sold Butler in the offseason and we might have gotten a haul. A good FO would have seen this team was done. The problem with Riley he never sells high cuz he's too afraid to take a step back even for a bit in order to move foward. He should have sold high on James Johnson, Dion in that 30-11 season but didn't. Should have sold high on Caleb Martin. We knew it was gonna be hard to keep him, could have gotten a 1st rounder for him after the celtics series. Didn't sell. Lets see what he does with Butler. If he gets sold for peanuts or walks for free in the summer, then Riles needs to step down. When you have limited assets you can't keep on missing on opportunities to restock. TBH I think he should step away at the end of the season regardless of what happens. He's too stuck on trying to win now when he doesn't have win now talent. As a GM you can't be that narrow minded.

i'm still at a loss in how this team underperformed in that 4 quarter. we are the laughing stock of the NBA right now. you just have to beat a team that is completely depleted like the magic was last night. no excuse whatsoever.

Talk all you want about the +/- numbers or turnovers or offensive ineptitude from Bam, but the thing that irritates me the most is his desperate desire to switch on to a guard on defense! It’s like he’s allergic to anyone with size!!!

You know how someone with 5 fouls is desperate to move away from guarding the player with the ball? That’s exactly what Bam is like when he’s forced to guard a big. :banghead:

And no, Bam isn’t going anywhere and will be a Heat lifer. Even with all the growth Herro has shown, he’s far more likely to get traded than Bam ever will.

They didn't just come back 25 points down, they won by 7. I still find it hard to believe.

That’s realistic. Our roster has young talent w/ aging often injured vets.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Who are these teams that were going to give up a haul for Jimmy coming off a playoffs he didn't participate in (and where are they now?) and what was this haul going to include?

The same teams that are interested now + Knicks, Philly, Kings, NO. The more suitors the better offers. And in the summer Heat would have had some leverage on where Butler goes. Not a lot but some. But now its all in Butler's. He can basically pick the destination and Heat would have to take whatever offer is there.

You didn't say what the haul was going to include? and the Heat don't have to do anything, the alleged suitors don't have cap.
