I don’t even peep this thread. Future face of the league

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

You can drop this kid on the Wizards and he’s probably getting 15 a game. Special talent

Cool dunks. How's his shooting/playmaking?

P.S. Posting in this thread out of respect to Big J.

he has incredible feel for the game and is a very good passer, similar to Flagg. Difference is he has the superior handle, shot and is an even better athlete while I'd give the slight edge on defense to Flagg.

Thanks. That definitely sounds like a generational talent. A slim Zion.

Nobody can deny the impact he has, but from what i recall from the fiba U17, his shot was a bit flat, and his % at the ft line was not that great.
But he made incredible passes (some nasty laser passes notably). But as of now, i have more trust in Flagg impacting the win column considering his skillset and basket iq than i have for Dybantsa (who looked like a showman but you have to consider the physical advantage he had, would be curious to see how he behaves against tough opponents/teams).

I would have more trust in Boozers'son (Cameron) to become one of the new american stars you are desperatly looking for. His game does not show any weakness.

How is this kid not getting more hype?

My goodness he looks like a young Tmac!

Next up for sure. I hate he went to BYU tho. He should be at a true blue blood basketball program.

Reportedly they paid him 10mil and most of it was from the Jazz owner. These kids are getting crazy amount of money after highschool.

not mormon.

the money was a lot but it wasn't any more than his final four (or five - i don't remember) schools were offering. he went there because he trusts kevin young's ability to develop him for the NBA. and byu also happens to be a really good college basketball team which never hurts. and they will be even better with him.

BYU is an average program. It was obviously about money. No top recruit ever goes there unless they’re Mormon there’s just much better options

Yep he would have been a much bigger deal had he gone to a true blue blood. BYU is off the Nat'l radar.

it's a simple and well reported on fact that the money was the same among all four schools. i could tell you the sun is hot and you don't have to believe me. that doesn't mean the sun isn't hot.

all true and doesn't contradict anything i said above. he went because he believes in KY and the rest of the staffs ability to prepare him for the association. and as i said, it doesn't hurt that byu is a really good basketball team.
