There are still some things that I only here instead of the General forum. As for BJJ, he said himself he’s no longer a Cowboys fan. There’s no reason for him to be posting in here if all he’s doing is trolling. Let him go post on the Chiefs board and let’s see how much fun he has.

Some optimistic news around Overshown… which we can all appreciate.

At least all Cowboys fans can.

He's a beast and a recent draft pick we actually hit on. I just hope his career isn't completely overshadowed by injuries. Next year should will probably be a make or break year for him. He will be in his prime and he needs to stay healthy.

I’m not counting on him next year. Awesome if he makes it back but I’m looking to 2026.

Draft position be damned…

I am enjoying this game tonight.

Let’s see if they can finish.

Yea I’m enjoying them playing spoilers. They have a chance to do it again against Washington. Beating them could knock them out of the Wild Card race.

Cowboys have some material to work with for next season.

The free-agency period will be crucial for how good the team will be next season.

That was insane! Hell of a play by Bland. Really either he or Jourdan Lewis could have won player of the game. Both made huge plays to save the game.

I really think this win sealed the deal for Jerry to bring back Mike McCarthy and Mike Zimmer. And honestly they both have kind of earned it. At the end of the day with Jerry (or Stephen) running the show it doesn’t matter who the coach is. We’ve seen him hire the HOF “football guy” as his coach when he hired Parcels. He’s also hired the guy that’s 100% a puppet. The results have been the same so I don’t expect anything different regardless of who the coach is. So bring back MM and Zimmer, doesn’t matter to me. At least we know the team will play hard for them.

They have a lot of guys that are unrestricted free agents this off season. I think the key guy they need to resign is Brock Hoffman. If they want to get back to challenging for the NFC East title they NEED to fix the OL. Hoffman is young and has the attitude they need on the OL.

Yeah, the OL needs fixing.

The good news is next season will most likely be better than this season.

Bad news is it's also very likely there will be no Super Bowl appearance.

Yep. And watching guys like Lamb & Parsons play through whatever they’re playing through and play their asses off should rub off as well. There are some on this team who don’t (example - Tolbert and his “finger”).

Gonna be real interesting to see who stays and who goes off of that FA list. But you and I agree - Hoffman is a keeper.

Hate that he’ll probably be a nice backup for someone else next season.

I hope not.Coop was thriving under Mac.A clean slate there, unlike with Dak,who sees nothing but JJ,s on the field of play in his head ,and JJ blaming Dak for the SF playoff loss publicly :noway: ,and getting in Macs head during the season etc.JJ making life tougher for his team by messing with both the QB,and coach. With Coop JJ cant say anything about either, except his recent positive comments about Mac.Go figure. :banghead:

I hope not as well. But someone is going to offer him a nice check and unless he’s interested in taking a discount to stay, I fear he will be priced out of here.

Yea he’s another one that the Cowboys will likely lose in free agency. Believe it or not they also still have Will Grier on the roster. I think he will be the next “long term” backup for the Cowboys.

So after this loss the Cowboys would have the 13th pick. Losing next weekend could push the Cowboys into the top 10 in the draft. A win would push them to about 15-16. At 10 I personally think they should look at OL or WR. At pick 15 it’s Ashton Jeanty all day long.
