Re: Zion for Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr
Call me crazy but I'd rather have Jabari and Green plus a first over Zion at this point. Zion can't seem to get in shape and is always going down with a plethora of injuries.

Re: Zion for Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr
Houston is a team that could trade for Zion and have it work out but the deal would be more like
Cam whitmore
Steven Adams
Jeff Green
Jock Landale
Jeff Green
2 1sts
For
Zion
Theis
This allows them to contend even if Zion never plays. They can even make him a 6th man.
Sengun
Zion
Brooks/eason
Green
Fred/amen
Could be special

I really can’t believe Houston gave Jalen a player option. Like the small chance he lived up to the extension, you don’t even get the benefit..
But on the OP - I don’t love the Zion/Sengun fit but I do like the trade package for NOP more than most. They could trade Ingram and Murray, lose 80% of their games and hope for some lottery luck again..

Re: Zion for Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr
Unrealistic fun..
KD and minimum players from NOP/Det to Houston
Zion and Phoenix 2025 first to Phoenix
Jabari, Green, Jock (TPE) to NOP
Tate and Green to Detroit
NOP is probably owed some value. And Det is owed some seconds but.. the blocks make sense with Houston looking ready to win?
Does Phoenix let Booker sit a month instead of a week and take a chance on Zion losing weight in the Arizona heat? Shrugs..
Tank in the middle of the worst pick debt in 30 years, save 100 million dollars and hope for Booker/Zion duo..

I'd probably take that as the Pelicans. It's arguably better than getting saddled with Green's deal and hoping you get Smith's next contract right.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
