Not Thibs fault Mitch is constantly injured. If Kat had a rim protector to help the Knicks defense would be a lot better. Kat is not a 5 on defense, he offers no rim protection.

That's 14 full time and 3 two way contracts.

Knicks could still add a full time player if they dump a two way (cap permitting etc) or am I missing someone?

Though we all know they will convert McCullars and he'll DOMINATE. :D

We have to wait until that magical mystery date in February. Then we can add another vet mini.

I'm a big Precious fan. I like our bench a lot. Just need them all healthy as I have been saying since October. Could we use an upgrade or two? Maybe but, we know Thibs will play the guys we have. Payne/Deuce/Shamet/Precious/Sims are all players Thibs likes and we still have Mitch coming back. This is a solid team doing great things. Sky is the limit!!!!

seriously..

thank you basketball gods..

Leon I apologize for the impatience. Thank you for getting rid of Randle... didnt think you'd ever do it

next... we banish mitch in the offseason. not becuase hes a bad player but because he has 1 year left on his contract and hes unreliable due to health.

This team is almost perfect, just need a reliable durable backup big man. Does that sound right?
I dunno.

Being greedy:

A reliable backup big man
An athletic 3/4 swing player to reduce minutes for OG and Hart.

Jae'Sean Tate
Kessler

I don't think there is any way to pull that off.

If God is a Knick fan, some combination of Sims & multiple 2nd rounders for Kessler and Precious\Dadiet for Tate?

Loving the optimism but still seems like a long shot that a Thibs coached team can avoid burnout/injuries for a 20+ game post-season run. My realistic hope is that Leon makes depth additions over the course of the next 3 seasons while the core still has tread left on those tires after multiple seasons of Thibs 40 mpg drop-coverage madness.

Watching other games I rarely see the teamwork and passing the Knicks display always. Other teams have excellent players but the Knicks are a great team.
I dunno.

Knicks need an enforcer. There were times today a hard foul was called for. San Antonio is immature and the Knicks ended up pulling it out but there will be more games, especially in the playoffs, where we need to put a stop to teams getting carried away.
I dunno.
