Re: Cam Johnson to Warriors
Feels pretty steep for me for Johnson. But I was suggesting two unprotected firsts for Kuminga this offseason. So maybe it’s time for me to accept I was wrong on him.
Have also seen a lot of unwarranted hype for Wilson, so maybe his inclusion is the reason for the value?

Re: Cam Johnson to Warriors
According to Fanspo, Moody can't be traded this season since he signed an extension after September 28 (Training Camp) and Schroder can't be aggregated in a trade this season (restriction expires after the deadline).

neither is true, Moody can be traded but his out going counts as 5.8MM
Schroder was traded before Dec 15 so he can be packaged in another trade

if Nets dont want to give up Wilson, swap for Watford. They are just fillers

That’s a lot for Cam Johnson. Beasley isn’t much of an addition. Nice addition for GS but not at that price. If that’s his price, look for other options

there is no other option unless you want to give up Green/Wiggins. This is pretty much the best option if you want to keep Curry/Wiggin/Green core. Johnson would close with the group

Moody can be traded, for salary matching his outgoing salary for the warriors is $5.8M, his incoming salary for the receiving team is $10.8M. Schroeder can be aggregated on Feb 5 or 6 (trade deadline) not before.

I just thought his Wilson’s inclusion was the reason for the swap or the first or something.
I think Kuminga still holds a good amount of value around the league, but admit I am probably off.
If he is being used in this kind of trade at this valuation, I’d love Dallas to try and end up with him. Seems like a really nice third option for the next 2 years, with the hope of developing into a second option when Kai slows down..

Re: Cam Johnson to Warriors
Too much for Cam Johnson -- drop the 1st and the swap. He's a good player, but he's 28 and he doesn't have much of a ceiling. I understand the Kuminga flaws, but a Kuminga-Johnson swap is the type of upside bet a rebuilding Nets team should make.
I thought Schroder was supposed to be an ideal fit with Steph? Warriors fans already want to use him as filler?

Re: Cam Johnson to Warriors
That's a first too much, but I can still see some saying it somehow isn't enough for CamJo.
As a fan of a team in the same division as the Warriors, hope they make this move.

If the Nets loved Kuminga and they were an over the cap team next year, and needed his bird rights then you might be right. But outside of maybe Washington, it doesn't look like anyone besides the Nets will have enough money to give Kuminga a big offer. Unless the Nets are convinced Kuminga would prefer Washington or that the Warriors will back up the truck & match a large offer for Kuminga, why trade for him now & pay a premium to do it? They're better off getting assets for Johnson in a trade with another team, and then pursuing Kuminga in free agency. This all assumes that the Nets actually value Kuminga as a high salary player.
Similar to previous hypothetical Ingram trades, Kuminga/Ingram hold more trade value in deals to other potential teams, mainly over the cap teams, than they would the Nets.

Fair point, but I think the Warriors are smart enough to either trade Kuminga or commit to matching any deal this offseason -- the Nets signing Kuminga seems unrealistic. Which means IF the Nets value him (big IF), then they'll have to trade for him and are competing with other contending teams in the market.

There are other options in the 20+ mil range (DeRozen, Vucevic, Kuzma etc.) That can be dome with a mix of 3 for 1 deals and 1_for 3 deals.
If the Dubs want to go all in, there are talent in the 30+ mil area too (Butler, Ingram, Lavine). Those would require Wiggins or Green, which makes those unlikely.

If Wilson is not there to add value, I don't see Cam J being worth that return. You'd be bidding against yourself with that offer, I suspect. I'd swap out Moody for Looney, or dial down the pick compensation myself. But you're the GS fan, not me...

That's alot, if that offer is out there the Nets should probably take it and run
This is assuming some desperation on the part of GSW, which might be true I suppose

Warriors fans will hate it, but honestly they're not giving up much of value here.
