Don't think SA should gamble on Zion.
I'm okay with the Fox deal, it's probably the right price too.

No to Zion, but yes too Fox ... Fox/Wemby would be entertaining.

Re: Spurs big 3 and more
Is it crazy to think the Spurs could possibly trade for Fox and Sabonis? Wemby can guard the perimeter and play on the perimeter so Sabonis could still play his role as a traditional C when they are on the court at the same time and Wemby could still get a ton of blocks being the weak side defender. I would start Sabonis and pull him pretty quickly and have Sabonis play every minute Wemby isn’t on the courts as well. Sabonis against second units would be absurd.
Not saying Sabonis is the ideal fit. But getting both for like 8-9 picks could work out well, and if Sabonis isn’t working you could move him in a year or two since he is under contract for a while.
Fox with Spurs is a no brainer though. Sign CP3 to one more year as the backup/mentor PG to Fox. CP3 is clearly one of the most intelligent players to ever play the game and he could really help Fox take his game to the next level if Fox is coachable.

Re: Spurs big 3 and more
I´d try to negotiate the picks on the Fox trade, but I'd probably do that provided Fox can be extended.
Zion I'd pass even for expirings, Spurs can do better in free agency with that much cap room. He's always unavailable and a distraction, I want him nowhere near Wemby.

What if Monte can’t find a replacement player and has to do full rebuild? His job is definitely on the line, he’d have to put Sac in a good spot moving forward immediately. That means moving both Fox and Sabonis (later Monk/DDR).
Would SA be interested in a title contender in a box?
Fox/Sabonis as base (add Huerter/Lyles for playable salary/scrubs/ect) for basically what SA has got that’s not named Wemby. So Castle/Vassell/Sochan/Johnson/Champagnie/Collins/4 first round picks(including 2025)/Kings swap back.
Kings have a rebuild in a box. Castle/Vassell/Carter/Ellis at guards. Murray/Sochan/Johnson/Champ at forward.
Move Monk/DDR for a center and other pieces.
Plus all those picks, basically two a year for four years. That’s loaded up. If they are going to rebuild (which I doubt), that’s how to do it.

I agree that the Spurs need an elite guard (I think Trae would fit even better with Wemby), but Zion doesn't fit me at all, instead I would be looking for a guy like Markkanen..

Yeah... no thank you. Spurs like their core and their mission isn't to save the Kings from themselves. Hard pass.

Spurs don't want Zion, and won't be paying nearly that much for Fox.

Re: Spurs big 3 and more
I don't think Saboins moves the needle. I personally don't think the Spurs want Fox at this point, but that's at least an argument. But Sabonis is a complete non-starter. I'd rather have Sengun, and that's not a compliment to my view of his fit with the Spurs.
