Giannis is looking to help his team get better everyday, and right now the Cavs are on the top of the East playing outstanding basketball. Giannis has a great approach to the game, one of the most respected players today next to Jokic.

To be fair, it isn’t just changing coaches.

Garland got healthy again and Jerome is as well. They’re both a big reason for Cleveland’s improved offense.

I was gunna say that Garland not having to take his meals through a straw definitely helps

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Absolutely, but the Cavs had that winning streak last season when injuries forced Bickerstaff to play shooters around Mitchell. A couple years before that the term "Cavalanche" was coined because of the runs we'd go on powered by Ricky Rubio.

The Cavs have shown the potential to be very explosive on offense but Bickerstaff never could figure out exactly why let alone how to create an offense that could create space like Atkinson has done. Instead he demanded max effort on defense, play his favorites too many minutes, and scream at the refs rather than realize why his team kept getting worn down.
Bickerstaff held this team back in the post season the past 3 seasons. Hopefully Kenny can finally get over that hump and at minimum make the ECF.

Yeah Bickerstaff was awful in the playoffs and has set an awfully low bar.

Still, tests are coming for Kenny too.

Lots of good signs in terms of Kenny sticking to his style and letting the team fight back, but we lost those two games to the Hawks. Ideally, you'd like to see the team come back with the right adjustments and take the second game.

Or little things like the team getting dominated by the Jazz's front line last night on the boards, but still overcoming by getting the guards involved on the boards and of course our offensive fire power. Opponents need to find more than just one advantage to take this Cavs team down.

Giannis is the most literal person in the world, this is such a nothing burger. He sees best record so he will say best team in the NBA, it really does not go past that. This is how he has always been.

He is concentrated on Bucks, he isn't posting on forums and looking at analytics to theory craft the best team 30% through the season. Also pretty clear he was just trying to illustrate how silly the feeling of celebrating an IST title is when there is so much ahead

Dropping those back to back games against the Hawks is a little worrisome. Could be a matchup thing.

Hunter got hot off the bench and the Cavs didn’t have the bench size to take away his shot when Wade is out.

In a playoff game, we will still expect adjustments, whether that's playing ball denial, using one of our available bigs, getting physical, something ...

For sure, there was some back and forth earlier in the season if they were or not.

Just kind of crazy to have a top 5 player in the NBA not mince words and call it how he sees it.

he just meant they have the best record, which they do. best record = best team.

As explained earlier in the thread that's not all he meant.

The Cavs have two mobile rim protectors who can make things harder on him scoring at the rim without compromising the perimeter, that was part of his point as well.
