One year deal? This isn’t Riley’s usual MO where he these g-leaguers get signed to cheap long term deals. So either they aren’t too sold on Keshad, or they envision needing extra roster spaces next season.

Also what does a one year contract mean? Is it just till the end of the year?

Beal fits exactly what the Heat will want, the option to remain competitive and we’ll get a 1st out if it to add in the Fox talks this summer or maybe take the Zion gamble.

I know people don’t want to hear it but Pat NEVER wants to be bad and Beal is easily the best player we’ll get in return.

I don't see the problem. Is it only valid if all be 18 yr old lotto picks or must they have a highschool highlight mixtape? All that matters is if the players can play.

The problem is this team is supposed to be competing for championships based on the history of this build and our superstar is in a contract year. Forget a youth movement, none of these guys have much potential outside of maybe Ware anyways but this FO and now fanbase LOVE propping up these average/undrafted young guys.
