For me, this is the best win of the season. They wanted it so badly on our home floor.

Sochan hitting all his 3s, refs hurting us, foul trouble early in the 4th.

We now know we are contenders.

It was a great game though I don't know about the best so far. That said there are several candidates, they call games like this "signature wins" and when you have a team that is stacking up multiple of those, you can rest assured you have a damn good squad.

The reason why I think it was our best win is because this is the exact type of game that we normally lose. Similar to the Atlanta games. Bad matchup, a few things not going our way. We rarely make the necessary adjustments in time to take the win.

No doubt we’ve played better and shot better. Denver, Minnesota, etc, those games were damn fun.

Mikal’s explosion is the cherry on top for his December. I think Chanel said it best. With him playing like this, we genuinely are a contender.

And Mitch coming back soon is the other cherry.

The nba really put minny on today to thinking they could fck with us with a knicks loss to the wemby spurs and then ant would carry Randle to a win to ruin our Christmas.

Super exciting game on christmas. I think we may have something special here guys. Despite Brunson having an off-game and KAT being in foul trouble as well as OG not being much of a factor on offense, we pulled it out. We can win against a super motivated Spurs team that got every single call imaginable despite 3 of our 4 offensive stars not scoring much.

Keys to the game:

First half---Josh Hart had a couple nice sequences in the second quarter when the Spurs were heading for a double digit lead where he drove and drew a foul on Wemby and knocked down both FTs, stealed Chris Paul and assisted on the Mikal Bridges reverse layup and assisted for a Deuce 3. Kept us in the game.

Second half I loved how aggressive KAT came out. It seemed as if he was single-handedly swinging the game in our favor when he got into foul trouble. Loved that he attacked the paint aggressively and even dunked on Wemby. Unfortunately the foul trouble pretty much ended his game. Double unfortunate because his 2nd and 4th foul were complete bogus. Really got an unlucky whistle today. Was headed for 35+ points.

Josh Hart as well as our defense late in the game really swung the game in our favor.

And of course Mikal Bridges was otherworldly from start to finish. For 43 minutes we were trying to somehow rattle them and grasp control of the game but didn't succeed and then in the end Bridges said: "Let's just shoot it out mfers." He was absolutely brilliant today.

X-factor: Precious--really liked his energy and rebounding and defense. It always felt like the Knicks could go on a big run with him on the court. His energy, length and agility really bothered the Spurs on offense.

He’s liking this msg and baskets. His defense of all things is much better. I just love that he’s letting it fly. You can expect him to shoot in the flow of the offense even if it’s not fully open.

Look I fck with mikal but he really was trolling tf outta us in preseason with this sht. And frankly I respect it. But I'm not going to apologize for being worried about that that bullchit form with 3 hitches.

So is it possibly that Thibs didn't want OG on Wemby the whole game then he wouldn't be in foul trouble and be able to aggressively guard him in crunch time? No, I suppose nobodies on the forum were right that he's a dummy and the refs certainly wouldn't be able to foul saddle OG by crunch the way they had KAT on the bench so much with the whistle.

Guys say anything to defend Thibs.

But thibs did this with Embiid in the playoffs. Ihart was in trouble with him for most of those games but when It was late OG was covering Embiid.
