They haven't won this one yet, though. Also, their schedule the last couple of weeks has been sooooft. If anything, they've been a disappointment this year so far.

His MO is praising any team but the Celtics lol. Like the more annoying JaMarco.

Change the Celts name and we’d get some respect!! Winning the chip didn’t do it, gotta get us a respectable name. I’m pushing LAKnick BucOKC. Rolls right off the tongue!

I honestly don't feel the disrespect from national media. They still have us at least in the ECF this year, no matter how we've performed. It's more a feeling of boredom that's coming from them. I do think Tatum is still underrated, but not the team as a whole.

I know everybody isn’t watching the NBA as a whole much anymore but I have a renewed spirit for it, I’m watching it more and more, I have found players I don’t like and wants them to be our rivals. I have a new basketball hatred for more people. I’m back baby!! I missed hating people/teams!

Other fans somewhat expectedly would hate us more after winning another title. Team garnering less respect from own non-pretend/non-trolling fans? Either expectations got even higher after a title, the desire to go B2B at all costs, or just an inherent miserable nature. I fall under all the categories, even the trolling part.

I'm more pissed about the Lakers win than the Celtics loss. LOL.

Also, not enough Pre-Season and not enough Practice during the Regular Season.

Sleeping Curry speaking up at the players only meeting, before the Christmas game, still ended up going to bed early after Austin nailed a game winning 3.

For the game thread...

Celtics play Pacers in Boston tomorrow but they have a home game vs. OKC tonight. Jackson, Nesmith, and Wiseman are OUT. Turner is QUESTIONABLE. Looks like Cs would have to deal with their speed and movement again. Not much size available for the Pacers.

I didn't love our game yesterday haha but NBA did quite well.

NBA DELIVERS MOST-WATCHED CHRISTMAS DAY IN FIVE YEARS WITH VIEWERSHIP UP 84% VS. LAST YEAR

Image

The NBA delivered its most-watched Christmas Day in five years, with viewership up 84% vs. last year across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+ and ESPN+. The NBA on Christmas Day averaged 5.25 million viewers per game in the U.S.

The matchup between the Lakers and Warriors — the most-watched NBA regular season and Christmas Day game in five years — averaged 7.76 million viewers and peaked with 8.32 million viewers.

Did You Know? Yesterday also marked the closest NBA on Christmas Day ever (min. 5 games), with an average margin of victory of just 5 points.

Svi is going off against the Blazers. He has 5 threes already. We really miss his shooting.

Svi will make 3s and also give up points on the other end.

No doubt he's a good offensive player, but he's just bad on the defensive end.

Pistons have already matched their win total from last season. And our Celtics can't even do that. Tsk.

You're slipping. They did it on 11/19 against the TWolves.
