I’m glad they decided on mid November to stop being .500 instead of new years otherwise heads might be rolling

Our next 4 games are also very winnable so hopefully we can push the streak to 9 again leading into the thunder game

That "Josh Hart offensive rebound' at 0.1 second does NOT do justice to the way he made the rebound. That was the gutsiest rebound one could ever make.

It took far too long for OG to be Wemby’s primary defender. Should’ve started the game like that.

Then OG could have been in the same foul trouble KAT was from guarding him most of the way and been hampered from playing aggressive defense on him late.

There might be an argument OG could have been deployed on him sooner in the 2nd half than halfway through the 4th quarter but the switch late also seemed to flummox Wemby without a chance to adjust to the change.

Might have been more impactful springing the OG lock late but what we do know is the Knicks won the game.

The Wembyganda machine is going to be insufferable for the next decade because the league needs him to be the new chosen one

he is going to be good but not sure if landmark good. like mj,kobe,lebron.

If he stays healthy he'll be landmark good.

Jokic and Wemby will be the face of the league together, then Wemby alone, unless someone else emerges. That's the way the NBA will market it. They are looking towards that euroleague deal.

OG Anunoby with the shooting slump and moving like a drunk Boris Diaw from either his elbow flare ups or/and Thibs playing him marathon minutes

Now its on our captain to work on his mental more than the tactical issues of the game and how to be an orchestrator and the first violin in the same time (both a commander and the best sniper)... Better decision making, faster pace, more off the ball movement and shots off that and more focused on the flow of the game and be able to dictate the tempo and see the weaknesses of the opp faster than they would be able to readjust

he just nearly had 40 pts and carried us in New Orleans when everyone else was dead.

But he hasn't had much consistency this year.

Even though the numbers are good...its a bit choppy right now.

He will adjust, his all previous teams in Villanova, Mavs and Knicks were slow paced, ISO heavy and full time half court setplays... second, we know from his Mavs days that he struggled to play great with another superstar in Luka because he needs to ball in his hands... third, his dribble is more tactical and with his body shakes and footwork rather than his hands and feints... he is more of a shooting guard in a playing style (not quite in the mentality but the skillset) in a point guard body so he has to learn how to act quicker and not tire up bringing the ball all the time with a tall wing hunting him or getting traped in a double or triple team... Steph Curry struggled that way in two consecutive playoffs until he learnt to play more off the ball, going through the screens and deferring more to the other ballhandlers and playmakers (Iggy, Livingston, Draymond) who made plays in the high and pinch post

Thibs is pretty well versed in the Triangle offense and he can teach both JB and the team to adjust to that... especially for JB sake who has more of a handles and playmaking skills of Curry and Billups then Derrick Rose and Allen Iverson

OG is a premier defender in this league, guards the opposing team's best scorers every night, and is rarely in foul trouble.

KAT is a mediocre defender and is in foul trouble nearly every game.

Well, sorry to burst you bubble, but you know what is the difference to a non-French international fan between Wemby or any rando American player? Nothing, they are equally as foreign.

Yeah it’s not like Russian and Australian and Portuguese fans are more likely to watch the league more now that a Frenchman is here.

And even then how many in France will stay up until 4am to watch basketball to help their ratings. I’m sure some really dedicated wemby fans do it but it can’t be that many

I’m a die hard nba fan and I wouldn’t do this, if I move abroad I’ll probably skip watching the nba maybe catch highlights or nba finals replays on occasion
