This team went 16-3 in the playoffs lol. They were winning regardless of who they played. Their bad stretch right now has no meaning on how good last year’s team was

It’s about effort. Celtics haven’t played hard all year. They’ve won games this year just simply being more talented and had great shooting nights but nothing screams them giving it all they got in any of these games. I know the Celtics have a switch but you can’t develop bad habits, those bad habits are why teams have rarely repeated.

I think JT play well after settling down. He managed the physicality well

Our defense was bad

An adjustment should be made
Starting with playing hard on defense

And I am getting cold on KP. He can be traded for all I care. We won the Championship without him. We can win again without him
Maybe get a more durable and defense oriented big instead (I know that I am pissed for losing the last two games, and its the middle of the night here, and I would regret it in two weeks...)

So you're saying we've played that terribly and a team still hasn't blown us out? I think the NBA should still be afraid. Every team is squeaking out wins against us and they are as happy as a dog with poop on a stick hanging from his mouth! What does that really say? They are giving their all and still aren't making us look bad. We think we look bad, what does that say about the teams that get those wins?

By any metric, the Celtics are still a top 3 team in the league. In a bit of a slump but still a top 3 team in the league (thank you league parity). People are on edge more because we don't stomp on teams anymore and Cavs are in cruise control plus OKC is a defensive monster. But neither of those teams have proven anything in the postseason.

If it was in the playoff, and you gave everything you got and won by 1 point - you still won
These losses show that we are vulnerable, that there are ways to defeat us. Even if it means that the other team needs their A game. It doesn't matter if this is a blowout or a marginal loss

Take for example the loss to ORL. Down 3 top players, they still managed to win by 4. What does it mean? that when they'll have their full roster they will probably think that they will be able to defeat us easier than the last game
This gives them hope and a blueprint to defeat us. And I hate it

Yeah, lost my edge. Used to "nag them" about building good habits in the regular season and continuing to improve every game. Come to think of it, I haven't sent a single tweet to any of our guys or Brad Stevens to chastise them for their sins. Not that I'm that active on Twitter anymore.

This team is not going back to back this season. There's no hunger, like last season. Dropping two in a row and these losses at home are inexcusable. Would like to he proven wrong but something needs to change.
