I really don’t care for these talking head Twitter frauds. The Heat FO could’ve been better. But really we were a Bam and Dragic injury away from a chip in the bubble. We were good enough to win. Chips didn’t fall our way.

The Phoenix Suns lack toughness, while the Warriors have the experience and pedigree. Just need a reliable second scorer, and no team will want to face them in the first round.
Booker, KD, and Butler might struggle to share the ball effectively, but with the Warriors, Butler fits seamlessly as a first or second scoring option alongside Steph.

The 2022 season is also comparable, key pieces like PJ and Herro both dealing with injuries.

Browsing through the Warriors forum, there's a lot of discussion about wanting Vucevic and Cam Johnson. It seems they’re not too keen on adding a 35-year-old player.

Beal controls where he goes not Patrick lol. You know how hard it is to deal a player on a NTC making that type of money then finding the exact right team willing to take him on that even has the right contracts to trade for that he wants. Chances not very good for a Suns deal.

Everybody knows im a big Wade fan but you think Riles does everything to try to please Wade if he wasn’t cooked before leaving? Lebron f*cked us & you blame Riley? Wade knew Ledouche was leaving but didn’t inform FO as he sided w/ his bf. Besides Wade came back which shld let everybody understand there are no resentments. Love Jimmy too but dude is old & often injured. Riley’s decisions past decade equates to 3 ecf’s & 2 nba finals w/ lack of talent. Imagine the same roster on another organization who f*ck up regularly w/ better takent.
Riley's decisions equated to 3 ECF and 2 NBA Finals? No, that happened because Butler raised his play to a level that this FO didn't expect (since they kept looking for that #1). Almost any FO could have had this amount of success since acquiring Butler and probably more with a team lead by Spoelstra, Butler and Bam. Miami got to the finals with players starting like Nunn and Vincent who both were so in demand Nunn got 5 mil a year and Vincent 11 million a year 1 season ago. I hope someone writes a tell-all book with some dirt on the FO and Butler for this Butler/Miami era.
You’re badly mistaken bruh. Butler thrived in the Heat ‘Culture’ that fit his mindset. The same culture Riley created. Why Miami was his most successful destination. Don’t get it twisted. Reminder also Spo is another Riles decision. W/out Spo it prob doesn’t matter how Butler performs here. Miami was the right fit for Butler who had been misunderstood everywhere else. Miami helped Jimmy clean up his reputation. So quickly we forget.
Oh, I give Spoelstra a ton of credit, he's even gotten a lot of miles out of two-way players. It's incredible how much he's gotten out such a bad roster which came from the FO.
In Minnesota Butler had them #3 in the West before his injury, a team that hadn't been in the playoffs for 14 straight years, he wanted out because the owner backed the young guys and not him. In Philly they may have been an incredible shot by Kwahi from getting to the finals and possibly winning them. I think Butler has been elevating teams for a while.
Much like Chicago, Minnesota and Philly, I'll keep an eye on Miami from afar, it'll be interesting to see how far this team will go in the playoffs since they have their "culture". The Miami FO has made what, 1 big trade in the last 10 years so I'm not so sure another big trade bringing in a high-level player is coming soon. Minnesota got extremely lucky being so bad after Butler left, they lucked into the #1 pick on a good year to have the #1 pick, without that luck they'd be back to missing the playoffs nearly every year. Glen Taylor is a horrible owner.

Early on I thought I may stay with Miami but my idea of how Miami operated as a franchise and the reality I've seen in the half decade following them is dramatically different and quite disappointing. To be that close with nearly zero execution to try to make the team better with assets, almost always sending destressed players for older cheaper vets(asset wise). The Heat FO walked 2 timelines for some reason (present and future) and didn't maximize either.
This has been criminal...drives me nuts!
Should have cashed in some of these first for win now vets but we just didn’t have good attachment contracts. We’ve been stuck with Duncan’s contract eating up 20 million for so many years now. Now we’re stuck with Rozier. That’s essentially 44 million in dead money. That hurts
And Butler's money is the issue, which is around 50 million for an extension, not Robinson's and Rozier's combined 45 million dollar contracts.

No thanks. Fox/Herro/Bam is still nowhere close to contending for a championship. I’d rather aim long-term for another title than putting together another treadmill team (this time closer to a 4-6 seed than the 6-8 seed of past years).

Seems tonight is the 3rd straight game Booker has been out for Phoenix and Beal's getting to touch the ball more as the 2nd option instead of 3rd option, 26 points on 20 shots, 23 points on 15 shots and tonight so far 27 points on 21 shots. It would be interesting to see Beal and Herro as your staring backcourt with expecting 45-55 points a night coming from that backcourt while creating a lot of space for players like Bam, Jaquez Jr and Ware to operate near the basket when not spacing.
Beal + that 31 1st round pick could be interesting since that 31 1st round pick could be a pretty high pick being that it's 7 years down the road and you'd expect KC, Butler and possibly Booker all done and not having any good picks for a while.

It's a massive win and Heat should run away with it.
Bam / Ware
Jabari / Jovic
Brooks / Jaquez
Duncan / Whitmore / Larssen
Herro / Holiday
Can make noise in the playoffs while having 1st round picks. It's a no-brainer.
Features our two best players and surrounding them with defenders.

Yeah, I’d do that deal comfortably.
Herro / Burks
Robinson / Larsson / Christopher
Brooks / Jaquez / Whitmore
Smith Jr / Jovic / Johnson
Adebayo / Ware / Love

lol you guys are funny. Would we be in the tax with that trade? Sometimes it feel like tax implications are more important with the front office at times.
