Look, I'm sorry you feel bad for being kindly corrected, people with ego tend to be like that. It is not a big deal, you will live. Merry Christmas to you too.
People who think they are correcting others are doing it from a sense of self righteousness, their ego. I appreciate you showing how projection works in real time. Apparently it is a big deal to you, or you wouldn't have been so offended by my words that you felt the need to respond to it. I'm sure you can get therapy to help with your trauma of discovering there are people on the internet that don't share your opinion. Good luck with that.
For someome who can't deal with being responded to on an open forum to the point he has to beg others not to respond to him, you sure as hell need to have the last word. Well, so do I (except for the begging part of course).
Let's review. I suggest the Wembyganda is the league trying to market itself to an international audience. You disagree...what is it you disagree with because you haven't clearly articulated what you disagree with?
Do you think the league isn't trying to market itself to an international audience with it's players?
That using a player from one country won't work to market itself because as you suggest, people only connect with players from their own country and not any others?
Please clarify because I'm not sure if you have made it clear what your point is.
If you think the league isn't trying to expand it international audience using a player not born and raised in the US, why don't you think they are?
If you think they are but it won't be successful, why don't you think it will be?
Please explain this disagreement. I have no clue what you are disagreeing with but let me make myself clear...I am not the league, I didn't create this marketing scheme, I just noted that it appears as if they are doing it.
Why do you have an issue with me suggesting that it appears as if they are doing it? You don't think they want to expand their international audience? That they wouldn't use a player not born and raised in the US?
Now, please explain your issue with my comment as you seem to have taken the time to express your disagreement as an attack on me for suggesting it appears as if the league is doing so. Since you want to discuss it.
Also, what is it that you think you are 'correcting' me on? Specifically, what is the 'wrong' that you addressed with your 'right' opinion. Please explain.
I'm just happy I get to type out the word Wembyganda again...that was really the inspiration of my initial comment, not any grand theory on league marketing, just Wembyganda...there, I get to type it again.
