Bit of a "revenge" game for the Blazers after getting blown out by 42 at home by the Jazz (who were missing their best player).
While it's perfectly acceptable, even desirable, to lose to a Flagg sweepstakes rival, getting booed by your own fans while being down by 46 to an equally **** "rival" is pretty damn embarrassing.
Of course, the premise of revenge relies on actually giving a ****. Other than Avdija, Camara and Clingan (in his 12 - 15 minutes), the rest of the team, starting with their joke of a head coach, has zero pride and is just collecting a paycheck.
Most organizations would have fired Billups immediately after that recent loss to Utah. When you loose that badly, at home, to a 4-win team minus their best player, heads should roll. To say Billups has lost the players incorrectly assumes he ever had them.
It's ok to lose, but you want to at least be competitive. Under Billups, the young Blazers are learning nothing but bad habits and there is zero accountability for the coach, or his players. They should have fired Billups before training camp and brought in a coach with a track record of developing young talent.
