Its bet for the mentality of a player, if you lose too much. Of course circumstances are the reason for it (inuries - a lot), but in the end if you dont win, you get used to losing -> which is actually very bad for the team culture.

Well be careful what you wish for. You could get a 5-year tank and lose all valuable players in free agency or in bad trades that are been forced by the players.
