Here, let me fix the Kings:

1) Keegan Murray get on the zempic and drop 15 pounds, move to 3 or the bench
2) Sabonis move to 4
3) Find a real center
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

This is the 6th season in a row where Demar has been on a team that badly wants him to help them make the playoffs, and this will make the 5th time in those 6 seasons that his team has failed to make the playoffs nonetheless. Fans of this guy need to be more objective about his shortcomings. He's not a guy you want on your team.

His game is the nba version of the milk man, doesn’t work in this nba.

he cant dribble, cannot pass, and has no moves lol

he has good size and shoots the 3, we knew that since year 1 and hes literally that same player today

I don't think this is totally accurate. There hasn't been a major leap that you'd hope but he's made improvements each year.

Year 1 he was primarily a catch and shoot guy. 64% of his shots were 3's and 97% of those were assisted.

Year 2 he added more of an inside the arc scoring game. 52% of his shots were 3's and he migrated that 12% difference mostly to the mid-range. He was more comfortable putting the ball on the floor and creating for himself and he was able to get to the FT line more.

Year 3 he's taking even fewer threes (49% of his shots), but he's getting more shots in the paint. 35% of his shots are within 10 feet, last year that number was 28%. He's also become a much more impactful rebounder. He's pretty much doubled his offensive rebounding rate, he's also improved on his defensive rebounding rate.

The big difference in his fall off this year has been his efficiency:
Last year he shot 56% from between 3-10 feet, this year is 39%.
Last year he shot 48% from 10-16 feet, this year is 42%.
Last year he shot 36% from 3pt range, this year is 28%.

If he can get those numbers back to where they were last year, while having the same shot diet as he has now, while also being improved on the boards, then you'll have an improved player. He's just missing shots that he's expected to make.
Go Knicks!

Kings may have found time for Vezenkov with Murray and Lyles not having great seasons but he choose winning in EL than being misused on bottom feeders in NBA.

The numbers do not bear this out at all. His drive volume is very low. Last year he shot well on drives but on really low volume. This year he’s upped his volume (still low) and he’s shooting 40% on drives. Murray drives at the same rate as other 3+D level players. Which is to say not very much at all.

Not talking about his volume so much as his playstyle. When he comes off DHO action, he's very aggressive looking to get downhill and get into the paint. Obviously he's not a pick & roll ball handler, and I never said anything like: Keegan Murray drives more than other people do. I'm talking about what he looks like when he gets the opportunity to drive, which is not very often in Sacramento's offense. He's driving less this season, and less efficiently.

I think Murray fans were thinking that was one place his game was going to grow (along with the aforementioned post ups.)

He’s averaging a career high in drives per game this season.

Drives per 36 are slightly down this year in terms of volume, and way down in terms of efficiency.
Any increase you're seeing in drives is just minutes being up, but either way there's no big leap or drop in the drives. The drop in efficiency I'd assume comes from replacing Barnes minutes as a spacer, with Derozan's minutes who's a driver who hangs out in the middle of the floor. Derozan also is further up in the hierarchy in terms of working those DHOs with Sabonis.

Is this his fan base? Maybe he’s not an nba talent

Yeah I don't think his lack of athleticism suits NBA game well, but his per36 stats from 1st(adjustment) season were comparable to those of Barnes/Murray/Lyles and better than later two this season, so not sure what this speaks about their NBA talent.

He's mostly known by EL fans obviously. Check Greek fans welcoming him back videos. Here is one where they beg him to not leave them for the Kings.

If I were Mike Brown, I’d be figuring out a way to convince DeRozan to accept a sixth man role averaging 30 minutes a game. Then, I’d start Fox-Ellis-Monk-Murray-Sabonis and allow DeRozan to be the bench creator getting the majority of his minutes when Sabonis is on the bench.

This one was so obvious. I was pounding the table on here about Keegan just being another random 3pt shooting wing who didn't offer anything special and had no differentiating talents when it came to the NBA.

He was always just Harrison Barnes with no upside.

How you disrespect Barnes.
Barnes is a consistent 38% 3-point shooter, he never shot 27% similar to what Keegan is now.

Murray is not a 27% shooter. He's in a slump. He will be fine.

Another home loss, another poor shooting.
