73% Of Players On Pace To Not Be Eligible For Postseason Awards

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Dec 27, 2024 5:48 am

73% of NBA players are currently ineligible or are on pace to be ineligible for the league's postseason awards, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN.

Players must play a minimum of 65 games to be eligible for postseason awards.

It was announced on Thursday that Luka Doncic will miss at least one month due to a left calf strain. Doncic will be ineligible for postseason awards should he miss ten more games.

I’m waiting for the day when a lower level all star is the defacto MVP because of this silly rule. He’s going to ask for the supermax contract and the owner is going to try to wiggle his way out of paying it.
