Not sure who makes more sense for Denver here
Kings out: demar, huerter, 2nds, (potentially lyles)
Kings in: MPJ, Johnny davis (potentially Jval)
Wizards out: Jval, davis
Wizards: Huerter, 2nds from sac and Denver
Denver out: MPJ, 2nds
Denver in: Demar and 1 of jval or lyles
Denver gets to choose if they want jval or lyles. Kings either keep lyles or get jval. I think Denver would prefer lyles who can spread the floor, costs less, and play with jokic.
Wizards cash in some 2nds on jval, add a shooter to rehab and hopefully get value as an expiring next year
Kings add a risky forward shooter.

Denver has no interest in a Demar-MPJ swap.

Re: Kings - Denver - washington
MPJ is arguable having his best season ever, has been healthy for 2 seasons now, and a decade younger than DDR. I don't see any scenario where they think moving him for DDR and JVal/Lyles would be a good idea. MPJ is likely valued the most by Denver, going to be hard to find a trade that overcomes that.
Looks like a DDR trade thrown at wall attempt and see if anything sticks. DDR should have transitioned into a 6th man role this year and got a contract that is conductive to that. It always seemed like just a talent grab that really didn't make a lot of on court sense for the Kings. I think he is moveable, but you likely looking at just neutral value, expirings/maybe some questionable money and 2nds from some other team that has no better options.

Picks in the bottom half of the second round have no value. You are just as likely to find success with an undrafted walk-on as you would a late SRP. So this deal doesn't interest the Wizards.

Johnny Davis is on an expiring deal, so from WAS side it’s basically giving away Val, and getting a couple really late 2nds to eat Huerters contract. Hard pass for WAS

Curious how you guys know where these 2nds fall since the OP doesn't specify the picks in any way.
If we can automatically just call every return to our team the worst possible then yeah we can justify disliking more deals.
But that also seems kinda pointless no?
But nobody thinks Washington is getting a 1st for JV. I mean his market was sub MLE. So 2nd rounders feels like the correct return. Not giving him away....

Derailing threads after your OP was locked and you were told why isn't the answer. If you want to participate on the board, terrific. But please follow the very few rules we have.

Fair. However, idk if Huerter is worth giving up Valunciunas for the Wizards, especially for just 2nd rounders. Whenever WAS does move Valunciunas, it will likely be for a package of 2nds and a player. What Huerter brings is very similar to Kispert, but more expensive. So I dont know if its the best offer WAS can get for Val.

I'm not telling you to like the trade. It's marginal either way and maybe Washington could get pure expirings with some 2nds which is better than taking back Huerter.
Was just confused how you and Nate knew those were bad 2nds when that information was not provided.

Val provides more value than future 2nds (which Washington has a considerable amount of in the future). He's teaching Sarr while also preventing him from getting bullied by the bigs in the NBA until he gets more muscle. Unless Wash gets a future 1st, they'll just keep him at his very reasonable salary for the next two plus years.
