Ace Bailey doesn’t belong in the top 5.

Can someone convince me out of this: every time I watch Dylan Harper highlights, I see a 39 year old Lebron James with better shooting, meaning I see he is a good scorer / shooter and very crafty but slow. He has a fast burst in single line drives, but any change of direction moves he's very slow. I'm concerned about his lack of quickness.

It’s all about feel of pace with him. It’s how Franz, old man Harden, Luka, etc etc can all walk to the rim despite moving at a slow pace. Harper has that, my concern with him is his pull up shooting is pretty poor. Still a top 3 guy though.

Harper next to Scottie is how you win a ring. Plain and simple.

Unsure one play a slow pace and one play a fast pace can fit into the same system.
We shall see a year after we drafted Harper.

Nice. There's an Ace, Queen, and Jak in the top 5. Just need a king.

Two of those guys are huge for their role, the other had a blistering first step and is a superb pull-up shooter.

@Indeed from last thread…

I’m assuming that is nbadraftroom.com that has Fears at 7?

You don't know basketball. What does the raptors struggle with? Folks that can score. What is Ace good at ? Bucket maker

Why are Fears and Johnson rising? Buckets

Since we are sharing current big boards:

1. Flagg

-------------------
3. Bailey
4. Jakucionis
5. Tre Johnson
-----------------
6. Demin
7. Edgecombe
----------------
8. Queen

Whatever gets Scottie to go foul-line down will help the team win.

There's an outside chance of declaring by Andrej Stojakovic and Peja was a King.

Since we are top 4 right now in this draft my top picks for future potential star outcomes
Harper
Flagg
Tre Johnson
Ace

I would like to come out of this draft with one of the 4. Harper being the obvious favorite but i would be fine with any of these guys as a building block for us....The question is will Masai try and be in the 2026 draft as well or will we try and compete ASAP next season.

Spurs might not pick in the lottery at all with how well they are playing. Maybe they package there own pick + Atlantas (Currently #12 and #16) to move into the lottery for one of those players.
