Jerry Stiller was great as George's father. I busted out laughing when I read that because I can still hear Stiller deliver that line.

Credit to Jason Alexander. He's a better actor than most people realize. He was legitimately an a-hole in Pretty Woman, and his pain and suffering and general cruelty was palpable in Seinfeld. He rarely gets credit for it, but being miserable on screen isn't easy. And his joy at Susan's death was, dark but not overdone. Totally wrong, but in a funny way.

A lot of really good character actors in that show. (Jerry Stiller among them), but Jerry Seinfeld's parents. Uncle Leo. Even the psycho-clown was believably psycho and kind of scary. Everyone was good. People say it wasn't well acted, but I think it was. There wasn't much in the way of subtlety or subtext. It was all on the surface, but I thought it was well acted and well-cast.

Not to change the subject, but Festivus. Airing of grievances. We should have a holiday for that.
