Indiana Moans And The Celtics Of Doom! Victory Cigar vs IND 12/27

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Sat Dec 28, 2024 2:51 am

Omg you guys we stopped sucking and won the big game hooray!

JAYLEN BROWN TERRIFYING MONSTERBEAST!! JT, PP, Al and Walsh were great too, and the WHOLE CELTICS TEAM killed it tonight!

Celts played with great energy on both ends, were active and aggressive and moved the ball and made their shots. I really needed a win tonight so yay.

Pacers again Sunday, Go C's!

Jaylen Brown for VC, CP, and honorable mention. As perfect as he'll ever play.

Tatum with a quiet fantastic complementary game. Pritchard is alive again, and Horford is 26 again.

Gave my votes to Jaylen and my boy Walsh !

Fun game but that last quarter seemed to take forever, with Indy being petty and constantly sending our bench players to the F/T line

Always fun to see Tillman making a 3 .

Feel like driving a galoon of coffee now.

Happy Holidays Celtics Fam !

I’ll go JB for VC and JT for CP. Tatum and Brown were making sure the Celtics got back on track. 66 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 turnovers.

Fun game. That’s more like it!!

Small sample size or not, I feel Walsh and/or Peterson have shown more than enough "ability" to be in the rotation in JUST ABOUT every game going forward. The more they play, the better they will become.

Walsh can defintely be our Energy guy off the bench, which is a HUGE need IMO.Walsh making 3s is just a Bonus.

Peterson on the other hand seems has to have some real nice versatility + IQ, with enough solid shooting from deep.

IF Joe doesn't start playing one or both, I will Call him out. I hate not giving young talent, that can literally help, a real Chance.

Went JB and Walsh and bisme and Joe for playing Walsh and bisme. Wait, that’s not quite right, but the game and thread title have me giddy. That’s exactly the way Jordan needs to play to make Joe keep putting him in.

For the Pacers, I liked Walker D-ing up JB at the end. Good fight. I assume their whole team will play harder / better next game.

Nice win. Much needed.

VC to Brown and Tatum. Pritchard a close 3rd.

Brown was great. Started the game 9-9 from the field, on his way to a season high 44 points!!

Tatum and Pritchard were really good. Both were monsters on the boards in the 1st half.

Al played well.

Jordan Walsh had his best game as a pro. 9 points on only 3 shots and had 5 rebounds.

Only thing I didn't like was Joe starting Hauser. Hauser has been bad all season and terrible the 2 games prior. He was really bad in this one too. It would have been nice to start Peterson, Walsh or Springer.

Surprisingly it’s not the first time he has left me off.

Excellent thread title. The only thing not enjoyable on this one is I live very near Indy so blackout game unless I pick up Quinn Buckner on the pacers feed. I know he’s a former Celtic and a bit Tommy-like on the broadcast but I find him really insufferable. I have a strange feeling Cedric Maxwell does too… this is the second broadcast in a row I’ve heard QB talk about how he either was ghosted by his former teammate pre game or told a story of them both broadcasting when it seemed like QB forced the interaction and Max didn’t have much time for him.
